Isn't 5 the standard for Ice Dance?
At ISU Championships they use 4 for Pairs, 5 for Ice Dance and 6 for Single.

I really enjoyed Caroline and Michael, despite the fall.

Nice program, this theme totally suits them and they perform to a level that look sooo confident, smooth and precise. No matter the fall but she is a STAR!

They will be a very strong contender couple for the Olympic spot

The Lake Placid center where they usually do this competition is under reconstruction. So they were "guested" by Norwood club. However, they didn't change the name because the Lake Placid International was a traditional event. It should be back in their usual place next season.

I guess I don’t normally watch warmups and thought it was a maximum of four couples, same as pairs. Just looked quite crowded on the livestream.

Ha ha, Caroline certainly landed on the beat. Of course, it was NOT part of the choreo. Please!!!

Green/Parsons got off to a great start, but that miscue took away from it for me (Michael seemed to come out of the twizzle early, and Caroline tried to catch up, then she stumbled and fell, even though it was on the musical beat-- LOL). Anyway, for me, their choreo was too frenetic at times. Maybe a little different music and a slightly different approach would work better. They certainly need to tweak some things. I'm not down on everything they are doing, but the change in tempo in the middle, and the frenetic parts don't really match. Something's a bit off, and they don't seem completely comfortable with what they're doing yet.

I really liked Eva Pate/Logan Bye's cool, rock number. It was a different take that suits their personalities and skating style.

I think Green/Parsons need to make some tweaks with their approach for this RD. I really love them, but I don't think they've found material as great as that first FD they debuted as new partners a few seasons ago. They need to get back more into that quirky, modern dance aesthetic. Find better material. Green/Parsons are certainly talented, so I wish them the best.

Yes! I’m in the Tenley Albright seat. These are the “these would be $3,000 at Nationals” seats.

They can have whatever spot they want as long as my babies Kaitlyn and Jean Luc get a spot.
