2022 Sofia Trophy

"Bang bang. I shot you down. Bang bang. You hit the ground. Bang bang. That awful sound. Bang bang. My baby shot me down".

And with that, Maja's lead of the FS came to an end.

Alia SUVARIEVA (BUL) now leads the FS and overall.

Wow. I just realised, we currently have a Bulgarian 1-2-3-4-5 in the FS, and a Bulgarian 1-2-3-5-6 overall!

Just finished playing catch-up on the Advanced Novice Men's FS, and it looks like they stayed on air to show the podium ceremonies.

It's fun watching the skaters messing about on the ice while waiting for the ceremonies to begin.

Just a final note to let you know that it was taking so long to get everything organised that the stream cut before the ceremonies started. 😞

But, boys the skaters were having fun during the wait!

Drat! I forgot that Bulgaria was 2 hours ahead of me not 1 hour! I was planning on switching over to this when the Intermediate Novice Dancers finish in Egna, which I reckoned would be just in time for the start of the Junior Ladies in Sofia.

Well, I may as well continue with that plan, and wind back the Junior Ladies when the Intermediate Novice Dancers finish.

Livestream for the Junior Ladies SP is now on air (and has been for 40 minutes).

Oops. Sorry, with getting behind in Reykjavik and trying to catch up, I forgot what time the second competition here started at.

It was supposed to start 20 minutes ago but, looking at the livescoring, it must have started a lot earlier than that!

EDIT: Correction. I was getting my time zones mixed up again. It was an hour and 20 minutes ago that it was due to start! :slink:

The Junior Men's SP has started.

It seems to be ice resurfacing now and I think senior women SP should have started some minutes ago. Finland and Bulgaria are on the same time zone and it is now 17.37 here, women's was planned to start 17.30.

Right, I've been keeping an eye on the window containing this event's stream, so I can now tell you that the first Senior competition is starting. (And starting very late! The resurfacing was only starting at the time this was supposed to start!)

Livestream for the Senior Ladies SP is now on air.

I think I will watch only first group where Fanny Lindfors skates and then continue Olympic team event marathon, then will be back to men to see how Makar S. does. I am going travel nowhere this weekend, the weather is windy and snowing quite much. So quite much this FS weekend.

So there are only 5 guys in the first warm-up group, but the picture is so grainy, I can't make out who's missing.
