She had an injury back in June/July, a fractured elbow. Not sure that's what's keeping her from competing now, but it's definitely the reason she wasn't able to do any JGP events, she was still in the middle of physical therapy if I remember correctly.

If German Fed follows their own nomination criterias neither Nikita Starostin nor Kristina Isaev will go to the Europeans. Both have the minimun TES but both are not reaching the minimun overall scores mentionend in that document. This document is just published - I have the impression DEU was waiting for the results of the only both competitive German skaters, set this minimum score - and save the travelling costs for the skaters to make sure that there is enought budget for the officials to go there.

I hope they still send Nikita and Kristina to Euros and Worlds. It's ridiculous when small feds impose some arbitrary minimum scores for their skaters. If they achieved tech minimums, just let them compete!

Nathalie Weinzierl was also removed from the ranking list. It's sad that the second spot won't be used but it would have been hard to keep it anyway.

Totally blown away by Hugo! :cheer2:Didn't know Germany had such talent in junior men. That sliding split move was awesome! :points:

Pity about the popped Axel for Leon. The jumps were a bit tentative as a whole, but he will improve with experience.

And as it should be, we finish the day with a 🐈‍⬛
Robert has nice long lines, the jumps need to be cleaner though.

I'll end this intense figure skating weekend with the German rising stars. The quality of the skating and the stream/production were a nice surprise yesterday.
