Shame about the botched lift for Vaipan Law and Digby, but overall they're looking stronger than Autumn Classic, I think?
Their triple twist gets better each time they compete.
Good luck to them at Skate America.

We finish the Junior categories with some Sunday chaos! And the chaos has already started, because the Time Schedule PDF isn't working! :drama:

It's actually a double-bill of Sunday chaos, because we stay with the men for the start of our Senior double-bill!

And, as part of the chaos, they are starting nearly an hour early! :drama:

I have an extraordinarily shallow comment;

This skater is very, very blond. Committed to his movements. (ETA: I don't know him and the results sheet is not refreshing for me. Aargh!)

And the sad violin music (picks up sometimes, I suspect it is movie music) may be too dramatic for him right now.

Just wound back, and it was Anton SKOFICZ (AUT).

As for the music, I don't recognise it. And his ISU Bio hasn't been updated for this season.

I don't know what is going on, because the Seniors started nearly an hour earlier than scheduled (and hence, I was caught out). Group 2 is starting at the time Group 1 was supposed to start! :drama:

Henry, I think I recognize the name, he may have skated for the US previously?

his music took too long to warm up for me, particulary if it is more sad, march-like violins. Nice extension and flow, but the jumps weren't all there. He looked tired at the end.

And is that Yebin Mok as Henry's coach?? So she is giving props to Donovan because she is in the building. Respect.

Joseph Zakipour, I didn't know him, but he has some very nice elements. A lovely broken leg sit spin is the way to my heart. :)

However, the camel spin needs work and one even looked short on revolutions. I only say this because some of his spins were so nice.

I am tired of movie type music with violins. :(

Oliver, I really enjoyed that skate. Tight, focused jumps and spins, appropriately dramatic flourishes to The Godfather.

And he was a mensch to Donovan. :)

Milosz, that was wonderful!

Joy on the ice, expression, spins, (even jumps ;) ) And completely understanding the assignment to Bruno Mars.

Bravo:clap:
