Ooooh. We have a very young Pairs partnership competing, at Klas V level. And both of them are doing the double, with the girl competing in Klas VI A Ladies, and the boy competing in Klas IV Men.

I have to admit, I thought that the boy was the little cowboy that has been skating to to "The Magnificient Seven" in Chicks for the past couple of seasons. But, I checked and it is actually the older boy from the same club that has the same surname. (It seems to be a pretty common surname, so I don't know if they are brothers).

Oh, I hope my kid Vayana Hristova has a good time at Nationals. She has really struggled so far this season.

And, of course, I hope her sister Chiara does well too.

I've checked SolidSport and the Bulgarian Fed's YouTube channel, and there are no signs of upcoming livestreams on either of them yet. But it might be too early yet.

To be honest, there is a lot of skating on this week, so I probably wouldn't have time to watch much of this event anyway. But, I hope that they have a successful event.

Yep, I caught that when I was updating the Fan Fest OPs for the Hristova sisters on Sunday. (I've been working on a big update for Marilena's OP, that is why it hasn't been updated since her comeback).

And so was team-mate Varvara Abramkina in Juniors.

I wasn't surprised to see Varvara there, since she belongs to the Denkova-Staviski club. But I admit, I was caught totally unawares by Marilena.

I am such a bad parent. A whole pile of my kids have been competing in various domestic events recently, and I totally missed out on them.

Incidentally, I was intending to do the Fan Fest posts about these events yesterday, but I decided to defragment the computer overnight on Sunday night / Monday morning. I did not expect it to take 23 hours, though! So, I have a lot of catching up to do today!
