I am so sorry. I was just trying to add a bit of humour, and didn't realise that you were under so much pressure at the moment.

With the opening round of the World Superbikes being in Australia overnight, I have been catching up on it, and only popping into the forum to do reminder posts for the 3 skating events that I'm not watching because they're behind the paywall. So I hadn't been elsewhere in the forum today until you prompted me.

The rest of the day is spent in the company of the Pairs skaters. It was supposed to be a group of 2 Junior partnerships; followed by 8 Senior partnerships. However, the first Junior partnership, Nora Marleen ROTHENBUEHLER / Mozes Jozsef BEREI (HUN), have withdrawn. So, my kids (or should that be "grandkids", given that I adopted Zarah's Mum a few years ago) are the only participants.

Not sure what happened but it almost looked like Yuna got caught on Sumi's costume
Unfortunately, that invalid element cost them their WC SP tech minimum 😞
Oh well, keep practicing and improving for next season :cheer:
 
YunaSumi was very enjoyable. Putting smiles on my face, and I believe many others too. Cheering for them with all my hearts throughout the SP 😊

SP minimum didnt get reached? :(

Ooof, looking at the protocols, this was not a good event for the pairs. :(
Unfortunately, both of the teams looking for SP minimums here also made serious mistakes that have proven to be too costly for them.:dbana:

TES minimums are likely to drop with the qualifying rounds making a comeback, so hopefully we'll get to see them at Worlds next season.:console:

The loose pink jacket on the male partner is such a distraction! It draws the eyes to his upper body, while I'd rather watch Olivia and the dancers' feet.
 
The final day of the Challenge Cup consists of a Ladies FS double-bill, followed by a Pairs FS double-bill. In each case, Juniors followed by Seniors. We start with the girls, where we have 22 Juniors followed by 11 Seniors. The 22 Junior girls are arranged into two groups of 5; presumably followed by a resurfacing; followed by two groups of 6.

No Challenge Cup for me yesterday or today as I had and have other things to do. Looking at results it seems Mikhail Shaidorov did one better, and Tatsuya and Kazuki in ended 2nd and 3rd respectively. Very close in points!

Glad to see Ekaterina did quite well, and I am hoping Kaori will do one better today. Congrats to Yuna!

I am not surprised to see the 2 Italian pairs in front, but not with the best scores (and falls?) and both with deductions. Camille and Pavel aren't having their best year, but thankfully already have their minimums. I had hoped the Japanese had also got them, but not to be.
