That was very nice. I never like this music in figure skating. But, Sara really does sell it well... Don't like the costumes..

Wow, the pairs are bringing it tonight!! 
The scores will be tight. MiNiki might win the free skates but SaraNico might grab the gold from their SP lead, I think!

The Italians take advantage of the mistakes from the Germans in the SP to win. These two teams, both world bronze medalists, have really been pushing each other and they are building to make an exciting rivalry going forward, particularly at the European Championships this season. Conti and Macii win their first GP gold medal. Congratulations!

I don't actually mind the costumes. I just don't like the costumes with this music. So, yes, the problem is really the music

"Papa, Can You Hear Me". Just what you want to finish the Senior Grand Prix Series with. 
But they skated it well.
Still trying to decide whether I like these costumes ot not. I think my problem is that they are not symmetric. Sara's is all blue, while Niccolò has black trousers.
They go into 2nd in the FS, and the win overall.

Right, now that the interview is over, I'm going back to Warsaw to play catch up on the cacti. (I've seen the first two).
I'll watch the Podium Ceremonies at some stage. (I hope they do stay on air for them!)

Another nice watch. Sad for the Chinese, glad for the redemption of Katie and Daniil, Isabella and Alexandr showed us some elegance, Camille and Pavel are on the way back, I keep on loving Ioulia's smile, it makes no difference who she skates with, it's just a glory, glad to see Lia and Trennt getting back to form as well if not perfect, and the 1-2 in the final standings were just wonderful. I think Hasse Minerva and Nikita had the better skate today, but it was really close. Well chosen vehicles for both pairs. Glad to see Sara and Niccolo so happy in the KnC.

I think the music could help. If you see his previous performances with Efimova they usually performed to lively or intense music and it suited him much better. In their last year together they did Disturbed's Sound of Silence remix and Orff's O Fortuna. But I wonder if G/K still figuring out as a pair what their character is gonna be. I think they're still developing as a pair, especially considering the challenges they were facing in the first couple years.

For the Chinese, it was their first competition after recovering from injury. I'm actually surprised at how well they did in the short program. I hope that they can stay safe tho. The exhaustion towards the end of the program got me really worried.
