You know, I have been impressed with Maja KOMENDA (POL). No doubt about it, she is a deserved winner.

And I loved her reaction when the results were announced. She started jumping up and down celebrating!

Fair play to the bloke, Piotr ŻUCHOWSKI (POL). He was close to her in every segment. But, unfortunately for him, little gaps build up to become a bigger gap.

I know I'm sounding like a stuck record, but he deserved a Gold Medal as well as Maja!

Again, I feel sorry for Oliwia RATAJCZYK (POL). She is the only skater that is going home without a medal, when by rights she should have a Bronze Medal in her pocket.

Although I had watched Adult Singles skating before, this was my first time watching Adult Solo Dance. And I really enjoyed it.

Which is why I was so angry that Pattern Dance 1 started early, and I missed Maja and you because I had stupidly went away to do something else between competitions. And not not being able to wind back the stream. So, if you do manage to find any videos, please let us know.

Wow! Watching you, I would never have guessed that you had only started skating when you were 40. You have come a long way in a relatively short space of time. Which makes it even more impressive how close you made the competition for the title.

Hey, there's hope for me yet! (I'm 38, and have only been on the ice once, when I was 16).

I see there is a Solo Dance event in Helsinki next week, and there are Adult competitions included. So, I hope there is a stream, as I would like to watch it. You guys have got me hooked!

For that matter, I hope it is not long until we see you and your fellow competitors that were in Łódź in action again.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to Helsinki. Maybe next year I will try another international competition. I love it, but at the same time, Solo Dance is a huge challenge. But this is how you can learn to skate beautifully, which I realized thanks to my coaches. There will be Willow Waltz and Swing in 2024/2025, which makes me so excited!
