2024 Tallink Hotels Cup | Feb 15-18

I found the resultpage on the Sportity app. Evenetcode is THC2024.

Well, I think there might be a mix up between junior and senior women at least for the Norwegian ladies. As I said I was surprised to see Pernille and Ida listed with the senior women. But now I checked the entries for the junior women and Mia Risa Gomez is listed with the juniors :scratch2::scratch2:

There is a possibility that Mia would do a junior competition in case she is going to be considered for junior worlds, but I don´t think that is the case. According to the Fed paper of selection for competitions this half of the season, Pernille and Ida was going to do juniors at this competition and Mia seniors.

Let´s say it´s actually the Fed who made a mistake with the entries - what would happen? Will they be allowed to change the category or do they either have to WD or just skate in the respective categories?

Looking at the other entries, it seems there is no other mistakes with other countries
Please see the entries here https://fsresults.info/2023-2024/talhot2024/index.htm. The skaters you are writing about are under juniors.

You don't by any chance know the address for the Entries / Results page for the Interclub part of the event, do you?

I'm curious to see if Oliviia Bazlova is entered. Plus, I wouldn't mind knowing what time Friday's action starts at, because I have a dentist's appointment that morning.

EDIT: I'm stupid. I just realised that the Tallink Hotels Cup is in FEBRUARY, not January! :palmf: It's this Friday that I am going to the dentist.

I think the same goes for Arlet Levandi. There is no Estonian men in senior men which is kinda sad since it´s in Tallinn, not good for tickets sale, I can only think that is the reason why Arlet is doing junior in this competition.
Arlet is entered in Junior Worlds, that's why he is in juniors.

Thank you for the reply. And welcome to Golden Skate!

I did eventually find the link to the Entries / Results page for the Interclub part of the event yesterday, and posted it on here then.

I found it in a very roundabout way, by doing a Google search, and finding the Skate Ukraine page about the event. It had a link to the Estonian Fed's Facebook page, and a few hours earlier they had posted the links for both Entries / Results pages.

At that time, the buttons at the top of the event's website were still pointing to last year's pages. but I see they have now been updated to point towards this year's pages.

The organisers of this event certainly didn't make it easy to find out information. They seem to be pushing people to use the Sportity app on mobile phones. Which isn't any use for those of us that are using computers.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the way things are going. The BBC announced yesterday that they were killing off the computer version of iPlayer Downloads, but keeping the mobile phone version.

These organisations may not think of being helpful to people, but at least there are individuals like you who do.

Thank you again.

:thank:

Yeah that is what I meant, he is probably doing juniors because he is going to JWC and wants to collect possible more junior ranking points before.

He has done some seniors competition in the start of the season, so I guess if he wasn´t going to JWC he would probably be entered in seniors.

I'm very much looking forward to watching this live with all of you here. :ghug: For a couple of past competitions I bought the live streams on Solidsports but while the skating was excellent, it wasn't the usual fun with nobody else writing in the competition threads.
I very much agree. It´s not as fun as usual because not many others here were watching because of the paid stream. During Nordics Open I was the only one watching in the competition thread.

I know that feeling. Because most of my kids that are competing this season have been mostly going to smaller events, I have been watching a lot of events on my own. And it's just not the same as a watching with you guys.

When watching on my own, I would have periods when I would comment about a number of skaters, but most of the time I don't feel like commenting. What's the point when there is nobody else giving their views?

So, I am looking forward to having company for this event! :cheer:

Round up as many as you can!!! ;)

Oh, I didn't know it was an upside down kitten. Now I love your Avatar :). Today is my kittens BooBoo's birthday, he is 15, but still a baby.

In that case I extent my most kittenish birthday greetings and lots of cuddles to your kitten BooBoo! 😻😻😻 I'm sure you'll treat him to some salmon or tuna or whatever he loves on this special occasion (and probably on every other day 😸 ).

Happy Birthday to BooBoo :love2:
