This is my body of work !Maddie save her season with her performance at Finlandia trophy.
I reput her in the mix for the Olympic spot with that competition.
The Olympic spot seem to me between Maddie, Gabby and Sara-Maude.
I would say give it to the one who skate the best at National.

Ahh. Yes, style wise they came right out of the game and had many of the trappings of a very good team style wise, no argument thereWhen they first started out together, I thought they were very good with them. The timing, the matching angles etc... They looked like true SBS jumps... it's been a little while that they are not doing so well on them... no idea why
“They think it’s super cool, they like this new direction for the sport. When I was younger, I competed in gymnastics and figure skating, and my mom told me I have to pick one, and I picked figure skating,” said Stellato-Dudek. “But in the ’90s, I watched (France’s) Surya Bonaly combine my two favourite sports into one movement in a backflip. And I always wanted to do it, even when I was a kid.
Thank you for posting this
SMD’s jump layout is horrible though. She has no 3T, which is her most solid triple as we saw in the SP. Also, with the 3A in her arsenal, she should try two 2A’s instead of one after her 3Lo. I personally don’t like the 2A after the loop as she gets very little flow after her loops. I suggest a 3T 2A 2A somewhere in her program. She gets lots of flow with her 3T. But, the 3T disappears after her SPSara-Maude had a better skate in the LP than at her previous events.
It's encouraging because it's often difficult to add an element like the 3a and retain the overall quality of the LP.
The 3a was of better quality here . Bravo.
She did double the lutz after that but maintain the combo (2t-2l)
She went on with a triple loop -2a (tight on 2a landing) 3flip then 3lutz in the second half !!!! YES ! 3s and 3loop
so that's awesome. Interesting that she is not using her 3t-3t from the SP here because it would lower her BV but if she did
3A
3t-3t
3lz
3f
3loop-2a-2a
3loop
3s-2t
I could still be interesting for her and perhaps less risky than two lutzes ? In any case, she and her coach have thought things carefully with the layout so I will leave that up to them of course![]()
I think it would be good for her to remove a lutz and add a 3t. Of course, using the +2a+2a Is a good way to bring up BV.SMD’s jump layout is horrible though. She has no 3T, which is her most solid triple as we saw in the SP. Also, with the 3A in her arsenal, she should try two 2A’s instead of one after her 3Lo. I suggest a 3T 2A 2A somewhere in her program.
that's a HUGE comboI'll add for SMD's layout that she had a 3Lz-2A-2A sequence as her second jump pass in the intended jump layout, so that may be what she's going for when her 3A is more consistent.
I think the max is two challengers and Kaiya got that.I think that they should have send Uliana Shiryaeva, Kaiya Ruiter and Gabrielle Daleman at Golden Spin Challenger. It's a mistake by Skate Canada for not having sending them. Even at Warsaw cup with Sara-Maude Dupuis it would have been a great idea to send one of them. I'm sad for those lady.
