2025 Cranberry Open (NQS) | Aug 4-8

Lia did go for a 3A (downgraded), and her PCS was 24.10 (she got 26.45 at NextGen).
Phew!!
Her 3A is improving though…
She went from 3A<< (2.06) to 3A<< (2.31) 😉
Also, nice fly sit spin at level 3.
Also, clean 3F and 3Lz 3T combo 👏
Ok. I’m happy. She sits in first place.

Also, even though her PCS score is low. It was the highest at this event.

It's nice to see Travis doing better this season, it has to be tough moving up into Juniors and not making Nationals. He should make it this season if he keeps up these scores.

214, close enough, give John a Challenger!

(And hopefully my 🕯️ will keep working for David and Eddy)
So close!! I’m so sad. The popped salchow was the deciding factor.
However, John has now moved up to our #4 Senior guy, I’m in my books.

This is such a good skate for John. Only the one pop into a double and a rough landing but he didn't melt down. So proud of him..

Has he been adopted yet ? :)

Looks like Lia is back on the ice.
I really want her to land the 3A.

I would be happy with a 3A<, as long as the score is over 5.00 🙏

Lia scored 118.29 in the free skate.
Overall score of 178 (she passed the domestic benchmark for a Challenger 😉🫣)

It looks to me, like her 3A didn’t go well 😞 😔 (we will see), as I expected a score in the 120s

Lia fell on the 3A
3A<< (fall)
Also, a fall on her final combo
3Lz 2A 2T (I suggest she move this earlier in her free skate)

Oh well, a good experience for her. At least she tried.

What in the world has happened to Clair Seo? Wasn't she coached by Tammy at one point and did well at Jr Worlds? Now she's skating llke a below par novice. Or am I mistaking her for someone else?
