😎

Those have a double meaning. Firstly, because Skater #26 from Croatia is wearing a bright yellow dress with silver sparklies. And secondly because she was skating to "A Cool Cat in Town".

She has a lot of team-mates with her.

She goes into 22nd position.

I think I might have seen the final Bosnian girl, Skater #27, recently at another event. She and her dress look VERY familiar.

And she is skating to Queen!!!

I enjoyed that (of course I did! It's Queen!)

And appropriately enough, she wears a crown while waiting for her results.

Awww, she and her coach are holding up a heart balloon(?) as a frame around themselves.

She goes into 21st position.

Ah, didn't realise we were onto the last skater.

Right, 15 minute break now until half past, when the ISU part of the event begins with an Advanced Novice SP double-bill.

CaroLiza_fan

We're back for an Advanced Novice SP double-bill! A group of 3 boys, followed by 33 girls.

And we have a new stream. (I forgot that at this event they normally split the day up into a number of streams. Which is a good tactic to try to minimise what is lost if the copyright police come knocking. Which hopefully they won't).

Livestream for the Advanced Novice Men's SP is now on air.

Here is the link for the livesteream:

All the other information you may need can be found in the OP of this thread.

Hope this helps

:cheer: ALL THE BEST EVERYBODY!!! :cheer:

I don't know if it is at my end, but this Warm-Up is unwatchable. It plays for a second, and then freezes. Then goes again for a second, and then freezes. And so on, and so forth.

Never mind, it started behaving itself not long after the first skater's programme started.

I take it that #1 Lorenzo HEURTEBIS (FRA) and #2 Baptiste GELLON (FRA) are team-mates, because Lorenzo is sitting all on his own. And looking very lonely.

He seems happy with his score, though.

CaroLiza_fan

Baptiste GELLON (FRA) is skating to a cover of "Mad World". I love this song, but this version is not good. Although Tears For Fears' original is good, I still think Gary Jules' cover is the ultimate version because it is so haunting. Whoever this is singing sucked out all the atmosphere that was in the two versions that I mentioned.

He goes into 2nd position, only 0.45 behind Lorenzo HEURTEBIS (FRA).

Aaron GRILJ (AUT) may be the only Austrian skater in this competition, but as well as his coach, he has a team-mate sitting with him. A much younger girl.

EDIT: There is a Liora GRILJ (AUT) in Group 2 of the upcoming girls competition. Bet you this is Liora, and that she is Aaron's sister.

He goes into 3rd position.

First group of girls waiting to go onto the ice.

What on Earth is this music that the first skater, Rita Emese KELLER (HUN), is skating to?! It is like music from the 1920's, but with a modern twist. And for me, the concept of the music doesn't work at all.

This is the song:

Caravan Palace - "Lone Digger"

That said, Rita did a great job skating to it.

So far today, we have had two Austrian skaters with Chinese names. Now we have one with a Japanese surname, Victoria YONEMORI (JPN).

Everything about that programme was absolutely beautiful. The music, the white dress, and most of all the skating.

I may be biased because I tend to have a soft spot for skaters that are Japanese or have Japanese heritage. But I really like this girl.

She goes into the lead.

CaroLiza_fan

Actually, I really enjoyed the girl on after her too, Clara FOETSCHL (AUT).

Don't know the song, but I get the impression that it is from a film.

Awww, she is really enjoying wearing the crown. 👑

She goes into 2nd position.

Before the graphic came up, I would never have guessed that Aria Lusa KOGOVSEK (SVN) was the youngest of the skaters we have had so far in this group. She is so tall. (Or maybe she seems tall because the girl on before her was not).

A beautiful programme. Not sure what the music was, but it was giving me "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" feelings. It was definitely Chinese, anyway. And I'm not just saying that because she was wearing a hanfu!

She goes into 2nd position.

CaroLiza_fan

The third of three back-to-back Slovenians, Luna ROZMAN (SVN), was wearing a gorgeous black dress with blue highlights. But, the music was not my sort of thing.

She skated well, though.

She goes into 2nd position.

Onto the Group 2 Warm-Up.

CaroLiza_fan

Aha! We start with a skater I have seen many times over the years, and would say I was very familiar with. Lilli Ann PRANGEL (EST)

She is wearing a beautiful dark green dress.

Interesting music. It started off very Middle Eastern. But then it changed to a dramatic strings piece.

I'm saying new leader.

No, she goes into 4th position.

CaroLiza_fan

And now we have a skater who we last saw only a few days ago at the Tirnavia Cup. Alice LOPES PEDROSO (AUT), our Brazilian with the fluorescent pink dress that was skating to Camila Cabello's cover of "Let's Get Loud".

On Friday, she scored 27.67 points. Today, she scored 27.71 points.

Well, you can't say she's not consistent!

She goes into 4th position.

CaroLiza_fan

Yes, Liora GRILJ (AUT) is definitely the girl that we saw an hour ago sitting with Aaron GRILJ (AUT) when he was getting his scores in the boys competition.

What a gorgeous purple dress with silver highlights!

Beautiful music, and beautiful skating!

That's disappointing. Aaron isn't with her. It's just her coach.

She's delighted with her scores!

She goes into 4th position.

CaroLiza_fan

A bit of confusion over whether the next skater, Katinka SZEPLAKI (HUN), has withdrawn or not.

The announcer started saying that she had withdrawn, and then we saw somebody signalling to her to stop. So she did. And then there was a pause for a minute or so, and then the announcement did come through.

CaroLiza_fan

The final skater in this group, Sara MUJČIĆ (BIH), was wearing a beautiful black dress and skating to a cover of Nat King Cole's "L-O-V-E". (I always think of the first skater that represented Cyprus, Kristina Dubrovskaya, whenever I hear this song).

It was beautiful!

A very tall skater.

She goes into 10th position.

CaroLiza_fan

I take it we have a resurfacing now.

Good, because my tummy is rumbling! I had breakfast early because of this coming on, and I am more than ready for dinner now!

Caroliza_fan

We're back!

And they're playing the uncensored "Love The Way You Lie" again. :rolleye:

CaroLiza_fan

Ach, for goodness sake! The "stream suspended" message appeared as soon as the music started for the first skater in this group, Leonore Sternlaub KRAMER (DEU).

Well, we may not see her skating, but she was wearing a dress where the top half was black, and the bottom half was a whole spectrum of colours.
