Louie FUKUDA-WU (TPE) is wearing a costume that starts as light grey at his shoulders and has turned black by the time it gets to his waist.

Mmmmm. The music started, and then stopped. So Louie stopped and started looking towards the panel. But a second after it stopped, it started playing again, and continued to play. So, he started skating late.

I can understand him panicking when the music started playing again. But, he should have stuck to his initial reaction and asked for a second start. Because I think it was praying on his mind during the programme. And as a result, he was making mistakes.

He goes into 5th position in the FS, and 4th position overall.

Anhelina MIAKTOVA (UKR) was wearing a dress that was purple in the front top half, silver in the back top half, and white in the bottom half. And grey tights. No, it's not as bad as it sounds! It actually looked good.

I liked the music.

Unfortunately, she made mistakes. Including two falls and a pop.

Mmmm. she was doing a Loena. Well, with the way that skate went, a bit of flirting can't do any harm!

Poor girl is sitting on her own. After that skate, she needs somebody to put an arm around her and console her.

Yipes, she only scored 11 points more than in her SP.

Marta KAIĆ (HRV) was wearing a dress in various shades of grey. I loved her music!

Skating wasn't bad, although she popped the first part of a combination right in front of the camera.

Some guy getting in real close to take a photo of her and her coach in the results area. I take it he is another member of the coaching team.

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Szilvia Barbara FULOP (HUN) was wearing a magenta dress. And skating to lovely music (it wasn;'t strictly an instrumental, because there were vocals that were part of the music).

She just about avoided falling after landing the opening jump. And had other issues as well.

Anna RUIS (AUT) started over by the Judges. She was waring a dress in various shades of pink.

Not sure what the song at the start was. I recognised it, but there wasn't enough of it for me to go looking up lyrics. But then it turned into that "epic" cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You".

Again, there were issues during the programme.

There's something wrong at the back of her neck. She is reaching around trying to do something as she is coming off the ice. She is still doing it when she arrives in the results area. I don't think she can breathe properly. Thankfully her coach is able to loosen whatever is caught.

That was concerning to watch. I don't know if it was her dress or a necklace, but that just backs up why I say jewellery shouldn't be allowed to be worn.

Samira MITISKA (AUT) is wearing a beautiful dress where the top half is royal blue, and the bottom hald is black. Skating to "Time To Say Goodbye". It wasn't Brightman. I think it was Bocelli.

I enjoyed that. I think she'll go into the lead.

She does, in both the FS and overall.

Anne-Sophie HEURTEBIS (FRA) is wearing a beautiful dress in two shades of blue. And the music is beautiful too.

You could see she was never going to land that jump early on. She was too near to the horizontal when in the air. Teh fall was inevitable.

And a pop later in the programme.

She's visibly disappointed in the results area. Totally ignoring her coach.

She goes into 5th position in the FS, and 3rd overall.

Sara HÖFER (AUT) wearing a dress that is black apart from the top right quarter, which is silver.

I didn't like the song at first, but it improved as it went on. It's "The Loneliest" by Måneskin.

Oooh. Her landing on a jump early on went so wrong that she nearly ended up doing the splits.

She goes into 6th position in the FS, and 5th position overall.

I was going to say beautiful instrumental music. But, then vocals came in which weren't really needed. Fortuantely, they didn't last long.

She was really good.

She goes into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

I remember seeing this programme from Veronika LUCKO (LTU) before. It is very unusual, and for that reason it does stick in your mind.

Unfortunately, she had a couple of falls near the end.

Marta Helena PRANGEL (EST)'s costume is something. A beautiful dark blue top. And a reuffled pinky white skirt. They do not go together at all.

Skating to a song in German. Oooh, I like it! A lot. It's "Zu Asche, Zu Staub" by Severija Janušauskaitė. (Who I just looked up, and found out is exactly 4 years older than me).

And the skating was great too!

Replace that skirt, and I will love everything about that programme! The skirt is the only thing I didn't like.

If she doesn't go into the lead, I will not be happy.

It's not the first time that's happened today!

I cringed a couple of times during Senior Pairs, when she butchered an Irish name (Neamh) and then a Hungarian name (Nagy). But, in both cases, it's not the first time I've heard those pronounciations, and I am sure it won't be the last.
