2025 IceChallenge | Nov 5-9

Both Keegan and Grayson have 4CC minimums now, but neither got Worlds minimums here. As I expected, Keegan missed Worlds minimums by quite a bit, but Grayson missed them by just 0.25 points. (I know, he's unlikely to be sent there, but it's always better to have them just in case.)

Sorry I couldn't stay for my two favourite American skaters... but the delivery boy was coming with my food LOL and now, since I have missed it ... I will just go watch my son at Quebec sectionals. Glad to read that Jacob did well.

Grayson may go to worlds... but junior worlds. It will be between him and David B,

Awww Kaiya Ruiter looks genuinely thrilled for Gabrielle Daleman.
considering the age difference... she may have been one of idols.

I am crazy for Gabby because of what she's been through. You gotta love your sport to persevere like this and come back... she could have easily said to herself, oh well, I am a world medalist and Olympic Champion... what else do I need to prove in my sport ? and yet, 7 years later, she is still fighting. I admire her and I would be very happy for her if she managed to get that Olympic spot.

Naumov now has a fairly similar PB to Torgashev, Ma, Hiwatashi. Sanchez could possibly achieve similar if he skates cleaner..

Third Olympic spot is still up in the air
Is this competition weighted the same as a challenger or less? I know it’s less than Tomoki’s Grand Prix.

This competition only counts for minimum tech scores to qualify for worlds or 4CC and Max already got his tech scores minimum before.
I am not sure why USFS did send Max and Jacob to this event since as far as I can see it will not improve their SB or PB in the ISU ranking. So my guess is it was kind of an internal battle for USFS to decide on something.... maybe Worlds spots?

The final day of the IceChallenge in Graz is Free Dance Sunday. We have both Solo Dance competitions, followed by the thre Ice Dance competitions.

The stream has actually been on air for over an hour for the practices. But, they were showing adverts on top, so we couldn't see what was happening.

Livestream for the Advanced Novice Solo Free Dance is now on air.

Here is the link for the livestream:

All the other information you may need can be found in the OP of this thread.

Hope this helps
