Lilou is very graceful in this, beautiful use of upper body and arms throughout. She's sensitive to the music and the story too. I like the timing of the combination in the pause between the lyrics, and the spiral out of the axel. Her spins are lovely. A great opening for the competition.

Wonderful Junior debut for Lilou. She was already so promising as a Novice, and now she's able to show that to a bigger audience.

(Yes, her mum (& coach) is also Nina Pinzarrone's coach, so similarities between the two are not coincidental.)

Leyla has presence on the ice. Goes for a rippon axel, steps out of that and the 3Lz too, what a pity about the loss of the combination. A good layback spin, and flying sit spin; she's a great spinner, I think level 4 for all three. I liked the entry to her 3Lo, and I think that's more representative of what she can do. Looking forward to seeing her free skate!

Shame the 2A and Lutz combo didnt work out but she did well to get the loop done

Leyla is very young but has so much potential, honestly it has been really great to watch the progress in figure skating in Turkey over the last 15 years in JGP.

I'm sad for Leyla. She is able to get the 2A and 3Lz done without issues under normal circumstances, but she was just nervous today. She's also just moving up from Novices, so I'm excited to see her progress over the next few years.
