Natalia has a lot of bravery, competing with so little practice time, and I'm grateful that Mark gives us the background so we understand the challenges the skaters face. I liked the series of hops after the loop jump, and her Ina Bauer. The fall on the salchow looked hard. Gets the axel landed and has a secure edge, for her arabesque spiral coming out. Her skirt stands out very prettily in the twizzles in her step sequence.

Bella is another skater just moving up to Juniors. Lovely spins and the 3T looked good technically, she just couldn't hold the landing. Not the highest technical difficulty, but well-polished.

Very international too - Born in the USA, training in both Turkey and Russia.

in English, names ending in "a" are not really sounding that masculine... even with such a hard consonant or the reference to the masculine equivalent.

Andrea in English wouldn't be thought of as a male name, yet it is in Italian.

Bella skates with speed, and looks to have good flow. I liked the Ina Bauer after the missed combination; falling leaf after the axel as well. She attacks every element, and doesn't let up. A good job.
