This can be a cultural difference, though. Luca/Lucca might be strictly male in some countries, but unisex in others (or even female).
For example, Luca seems to be mainly used as a feminine name in Croatia and Hungary.
Oh of course, even in the Anglosphere names can have a different feel by country (ex. Ashley is very strictly feminine now in the US but it's still unisex in other parts) and I do not and cannot know every single culture's perception of names, so I am aware that I may be bigoted and my biases could be clouding my eyes. But in Hungary Luca is pronounced lu-tsa and it's their form of Lucia (which is strictly feminine) so

See, that's a female name in my mind.
Mika feels male, but it could also be a nickname for a Michaela or Michelle.

Joshua is probably the name that would come to mind for me, but I also can't think of many others.
Noah, Jeremiah, and Joshua are probably the most well-known.
Bela is also used :) like in Bela Fleck :)

I'm struggling to think if any male names in English which end with an a...

Joshua.

But I can't think of any others.

That said, I agree with the Italians that Andrea is a boy's name that has been hijacked for girls.

By the way, getting back to the skater that started this whole discussion. Do we know if Lucca DIJKHUIZEN has any Italian heritage? Because a lot of this discussion has been based on Italian pronounciations. And Italian is a very differnt language to Dutch.

And on the subject of Italian pronounciations, I thought "cc" was pronouched like "ch" is in English.

I forgot about Joshua (usually gets changed to Josh). Noah and Jeremiah are ah not a. There are plenty of names which end in ah. It is a which is rare for male English names.
