I don't have much to say; I'm crying. Sophie did a brilliant job. 3A-3T to start, gorgeous Ina Bauer to 2A. The fierceness at the start of the step sequence, the pain that she emoted - she moved me deeply.

That was a huge improvement from previous years in terms of performance. Her spins could still use some work.

This SP was dedicated to the people she lost to the plane crash. Kudos for being able to skate this program without bawling at the end of it.

(It was Sofia Bezkorovainaya, who is skating the SP intended for her best friend, Everly Livingston,)

My stream jumped a few second and thus I didn't get to see what level her step sequence got... Very strong jumps, but otherwise...

Her inconsistency in the short from last season and the first comps this season. But i was hoping it would prove me wrong like reverse psychology

Repotting will indeed be scary... i am tempted not to repot it and let it go dormant and repot it in the spring ... but yeah... not a rolling platform.. just a traditional pot.

The singer of this song is clearly a figure skating fan. She was watching all last season, and heard "Voilà" so many times that she wrote a song that sounds so much like it!

Safiya has some pretty nice positions in her spins. I like the color of her dress.

Yet another good programme by Safiya! These junior girls are doing so well today. Beautiful spiral entrance to her 2A, great flexibility in her I-spin. A nice 3Lo, with an Ina Bauer exit. I enjoyed her step sequence, and she has a good layback.

Mother nature is not being kind to me this time of the month and I'm already tired, I can't take much caffeine because in June I was late on my manuscript and stayed up a lot of nights via energy drinks which got me yet another heartburn which I have just recovered from, I'm conscious purely on willpower to see my girlie Minsong have a great international junior debut (she only does a 3T-3T so probably not a serious podium contender but I do want her to do well and be happy, she is a delight to watch)
