2025 Lombardia Trophy: General Info and Pregame Chat

Guys do we have a schedule? I could change my vacation plans, I only have to convince a group of friends that figure skating competition is much better than sightseeing Milano

Last day to get an early bird pass! Full event pass with replays available for 6 weeks is 21.99 Euros ($25 USD). Buying my pass was easy, or at least it would have been if I'd remembered my Ice Stars TV password 😄

Grr. I have missed it by ten minutes. Stupid time difference. I have a feeling I missed it by a similar margin last season. That was because I forgot the time difference. This year was me not looking at it in time in the first place (but it is still before midnight here...)

From what I gather the WDs are:

Men:
Raffaele Zich ITA
Vadym Novikov UKR

Women:
Chaeyeon Kim KOR
JAde Hovine BEL
Ina Jungmann GER
Ana Sofia Beschea ROU
Martaliis Kuslap EST
Teodora Maria Gheorghe ROU

@gsk8 we need an update in the skate picks!

Ooohh... this really isn't looking good for Chaeyeon :( First the Ontario WD and now this. She's still doing Nepela iirc, that's in just 2 weeks so if she doesn't WD in the upcoming days i'd say there's hopefully not much to worry about. Do we think she'll want to (or KSU wil make her) do a second Challenger pre/middle GP?

@gsk8 What happened to the Lombardia pairs category in the prediction? The schedule lists pairs and some people made choices - it is not available for me to choose.

In order of Personal Best, * - unofficial best if no official.

Women
No Name Nation Score
31 Vivienne CONTARINO ITA 89.25*

If you want a higher unofficial best for Vivienne CONTARINO (ITA), she scored 108.50 in Junior Ladies at the 30th Coppa Europa - Trofeo U.I.S.P. in March 2018, which was part of the 2017-18 European Criterium series.

But, my goodness, this is her first international competition in Singles skating since that event! :jaw: She has been competing in Pairs in the intervening years.

Fair play to her, coming back to Singles after all these years!  :points:
