2025 Nepela Memorial is the sixth of 11 events of the 2025-26 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, September 25-27, 2025.

This event will feature the Singles and Ice Dance disciplines in the Senior category. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations for Singles & Pair skating and Ice Dance, and relevant ISU Communications.

Participation is open to all Skaters/Couples of ISU Members with a maximum of 3 entries per category (except for the Host ISU Member), who are eligible for International “Senior” Competitions by age (Rule 108) and by citizenship (109) and entered through the respective ISU Member. There is a limitation for the Skaters/Couples to three (3) participations in the Challenger Series Competitions.

The event will count towards ISU World Standing Points, Minimum Total Technical Score, Challenger Series in Figure Skating Ranking and Prize Money.

It's funny that this event and Nebelhorn are on at the same time. I guess they had no choice because of the late scheduling of the Olympic qualifier in Beijing to take place the week before.

I usually go to both but as I am skipping Nebelhorn this year, I will go to this!

Because the Nebelhorn Trophy was supposed to be a week earlier, so their deadline was a week earlier.

When the event had to be moved (seemingly due to the ISU not wanting any "competing" events on the same weekend as the Olympic qualifier - There's also no JGP that week), they didn't change the entry deadline to match. The entry deadline was 5 weeks before the event instead of the usual 4 this time because of this, and so we get the entry lists at different times.

Wow, what a line up! For ice dance I did secretly wish for at least one couple from Finland and maybe Taschlers and maybe Spaniards, but to get them all and Lajoia/Lagha, Lopareva/Brissaud, Demougeot/LeMercier and Green/Parsons on top of that is better then my wildest dreams. Not to forget the singles with Kevin, all the Italians in both men/women, Niina, Ava, Starr, Elyce, Camden and Chaeyeon. So many of my faves and so many new skaters I have never seen live to fell in love with.
 
Stream can be bought here. I think I'll do it. QQ won't work for me this year because I'll be at Nebelhorn and can't watch live skating and a stream at the same time 😅
 
How on earth can they get through these events? There's no detailed schedule available. All I can find is the announcement which says 14:00 on Friday for all 3 short programmes. There's no way they'll get through it all.

WOW !! 7 teams ranked 8 thru 17 in the same field. This will be and exciting competition !

It's likely a few people will WD compared to this list, and there are like roughly 3 more groups compared to last year, shouldn't be a huge issue for Friday program, Saturday with free programs will be a different story tough, I expect to live at the stadium. :laugh4:

ETA: Sportity password is Nepela2025, wasn't much on there yet when I checked yesterday.
