I think that is too high. 175 would be more fair.

Even 175 seems high - for example Sara Maude Dupuis CAN PB=178.77

But I just realized how insane a 185+ score is as requirement. Like Kimmy barely made the score (186) and was 4th at Euros... Livia would need to have perfect skates and then hope for some good scores and that is possible why she is struggling so much now because she can´t afford any mistakes if she is going to make it.

That's a good question. I think the Canadian fed is checking into it to see if the event will happen or not.

They're all assigned to Cup of Innsbruck, where S/D should've probably went to if they needed points.

It's not about the points for them. They want more competition experience with their new programs because those weird mistakes keep happening when they compete while in practice things go much better.

It could have also gone that Cup of Innsbruck wouldn't have had enough entries for standing points. It's a risk when entering competitions if that's what skaters are competing for.
