The 2025 Philadelphia Summer Championships will be hosted by the IceWorks SC and will be held Jul 30 - Aug 3, 2025, in Aston, PA. This year's event will be a NQS (National Qualifying Series) event for the singles discipline.

This event will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of U.S. Figure Skating, as set forth in the current rulebook, and/or current Compete USA handbook as well as any pertinent updates that have been posted on the U.S. Figure Skating website.

The traditional U.S. Figure Skating Qualifying Structure is in place for athletes who want to compete at the United States Figure Skating Championships in singles, pairs, ice dance, synchronized, collegiate and adults. Singles, pairs and ice dance athletes who are juvenile, intermediate or novice compete to earn a spot on the National High Performance Development Team.

Is this one still on? I haven't seen much of anything about it. If it is still on, we will try to go for @ least part of it this Saturday.

Whoa. Looked at the intermediate ladies results and Tera Gropp won by 35 points with just shy of 140 points overall. Looked her up and she won Midwestern Sectionals in juvenile last year. She seems to be one to watch (as does Rachael Tan, with 104 points overall).

^ I hope so! However, I think the Skating Club of Boston's Cranberry Cup has taken away a lot of the competitors who came to the Philadelphia Summer Competition (formerly known as "Liberty") for years.

rough outing from Clare, i hope she's just getting early season jitters out of the way but they even hammered her in PCS.

it's still nuts to me we're seeing all triples in intermediate women today basically as the norm. back when i competed (2000s) if you had all your doubles minus 2A you were good, if you had a 2A you were really good and if you had all that plus a 3S you were out of this world.

Wow... This is much better than anything we have seen from Gabby in the recent years where she's been trying to come back but was often injured etc... Of course, they left out the passes where there were issues but still, a good lutz and flip to start, a nice 3s-2t-2t.... good spins and attention to detail throughout. This is exciting.

Yes, she looks fully recovered really and her 3S 2T 2T are great and cleaner too
