Actually, it wasn't that long. But when the music started playing, Michael wasn't sure whether he was supposed to start skating or not.

Then it stopped, and he was introduced again. And got going.

I was going to say it was a beautiful piano instrumental. But then somebody started singing over it. I think I would have preferred it if it had stayed without the vocals. (It wasn't great singing!)

The music in the second half was very different. Very spiritual. And then a guitar came in and it turned rocky!

The skating was good.

On the whole, I enjoyed the programme.

Oh, I forgot to say, he was wearing a purple jumper with a white patch on the front, and black trousers.

He went into the lead.

Only one left to go. Which will win?

Another generic costume for Maurizio ZANDRON (AUT). A few different shades of grey.

Eh, there's a helicoptor.

The music was beautiful. But then, there was a piece of dialogue, and it turned into a song whose title I can't remember. But, it wasn't in keeping with the rest of the programme.

He had a fall but, on the whole, the skating was good.

He wins.

I was going to say "That's All Folks!" But then I discovered that they stayed on air for the Podium Ceremonies.

Yep, as I expected, Robin's doing the presentations.

Junior Pairs first, so I guess it'll be the same running order as the competitions.

Oh, music problems for the second Finn, Venla SINISALO. It started playing, and she started skating, and then it stopped playing all of a sudden.

Then they tried again, and the same happened again.

I hope she has a backup copy, because it seems there is a problem with the copy they have.

Oh dear - this happened twice in the men's event, too - there seemed to be a technical issue with the music - I can't imagine how off-putting it would be for the skaters.

Awwww. Robin had to help the Senior Ladies winner up onto the top step of the podium.

And we got another stray national anthem after the winner's. Didn't recognise this one, though.

Thank you. That livestream is working!!! It seems to have been taken down from their youtube page but, like yesterday's, is working if you are in it already (or, seemingly, if you follow the direct link). I managed to catch yesterday's while it was still on the page, but I think the JGP must have finished later today.

Aha! When signing off, Jenny indicated that they will be holding this event next year as well.

Glad to hear it. This Qualifier / International format was a great success!

And hopefully by then, Robin Hood Airport will be open again, and it will be much easier to get from plane to arena...

@CaroLiza_fan Thanks for all the links and updates! It was so nice to have a free live stream and be able to hear the music.....with a few problems! I enjoyed it and hope they do the event next year but maybe without the weird music problems. My only issue was the video was so dark when the skaters were on the ice that I could not see the colors - just dark or light. When the skaters were in the kiss n cry waiting for scores I was finally able to see the costume color.

But all in all it was lovely!

From the sublime, to the ridiculous.

What on Earth was that racket that Samuel MINDRA (USA) was skating to?!

It doesn't matter how he skated. That mess of noise totally spoiled the programme.

Not the music that I wanted to end the day with.

He finished in 3rd poistion.

That was one most exciting music I’ve ever heard and he skated to a beautifully. That music is from a very famous Russian percussionist. The beat was incredible.!!!!
