I'm so happy to see Valentina and Max back skating! They have lovely choreographic touches and attention to the music, and their lift is really wonderful in this program. I like a lot of their transitions, especially the lunge into the spins. Like always, it's the SBS jumps and throws that give them trouble, and they made some costly mistakes in this short.

Her costume is quite nice, he left his at home. And Never Enough is one of those sings I really don't recommend as repeating those two words over and ever risks giving the judges ideas (and it's a little staid but at least Clarkson can pronounce the word me)

I found the song very distracting unfortunately, all that belting by Kelly Clarkson was getting on my nerves

Jumps and throws. Sigh. Please Coach Peterson have them work with a jump specialist. Cutting them some slack because they've been gone for so long. ❤️

What is sad is that it is one of the better versions of the song I have heard...

God, I hate the way this sport is covered/ not covered, and how poorly fans and skaters are treated. What is this everlasting mess! I'd rather have no announcer, no Tara and no commercials than this cruddy shizz!

This is the other Flores, isn't it?

Olivia and Luke look like a different team compared earlier at John Nicks, they've always been a team very dependent on peaking but this is a big transformation. Their pairs elements look so much more confident and they bring a lovely youthful excitement and vibrance to this event. They still have a lot of work to do, especially on the twist and Luke's footwork in the lifts, but this was a solid GP debut. They had a fall on the lift during practice this morning so I'm guessing that was why it was a little more hesitant here.
