2025 Skate Detroit will be hosted by the Detroit SC and will be held Aug 19-24, 2025, in Bloomfield Township, MI. This year's event will be a NQS (National Qualifying Series) event for the singles, pairs and ice dance disciplines.

This event will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of U.S. Figure Skating, as set forth in the current rulebook, and/or current Compete USA handbook as well as any pertinent updates that have been posted on the U.S. Figure Skating website.

The traditional U.S. Figure Skating Qualifying Structure is in place for athletes who want to compete at the United States Figure Skating Championships in singles, pairs, ice dance, synchronized, collegiate and adults. Singles, pairs and ice dance athletes who are juvenile, intermediate or novice compete to earn a spot on the National High Performance Development Team.

Some interesting entries here. Maddie is the biggest name competing. Senior men is the entire Israeli team that was at Cranberry Cup. Two men who split with their partners last year will debut their new partnerships in junior pairs: Alena/Sam and Deanna/William. Some good newly senior dance teams of the peals and mullens competing head to head. And.. of course we see none of this, so does it even matter. :frown:

Luckily someone uploaded some of the senior ice dance rhythm dance videos -- with music!!!

Maddie was perfect!!
3Lz 3T, 2A and 3Lo landed, all spins at level 4 and a step sequence at level 4.

I think Maddie is sealing her Olympic spot.
Glad she fixed her level issues. I don't think Skate Detroit is where anyone will seal their Olympic spot but if she keeps skating like this, then yes, she will be very hard to beat :)
