2026 Challenge Cup | Jan 22-25

I think her PB is only about 1 point higher:
13 NOV 2025 NRW-TROPHY 2025/2026 SP 60.26 (2.)
https://deu-s.de/athletinnen/name/annagerke#bestplatzierungen (scroll down a little further)

I would love for her to win “real” precious metal again tomorrow ... 🥰

Ah! I fell into the trick of some of these competitions being counted as Tech Min but not ISU PB D: ..... NRW is the same as Challenge Cup in that case, I believe.

I think so: NRW-THROPHY, “Tech Mins: Yes” (as in Challenger competitions)
etc.

I am here again since half hour ago! Probably wont posting play by play.
Trying to sit in different places as I really dont know where is the best, and thought this will be a good time to test ... any recommendation? :))

Name is confusing ;) did you mean Challenge Cup?

Challenger Series (CS) which normally happen only on the first half of the season do count on the SB/PB records! :)

What do I know. It's a shame that the tulip bulbs can't manage a livestream for everyone, whereas the club from North Rhine-Westphalia (GER, Dortmund) always does an exemplary job of it. I think there will be a short private smartphone video from Anna later—in the meantime, good luck for the final!🤞

The spectator side of the arena suddenly got way a lot fuller now with Senior Woman warming up on the ice!

Niki Wories has her own command on the ice that I got the shivers 🤍 seeing her irl is different in a good way.

Junior Woman Medalist:
1) Lilou Remeysen
2) Stefania Gladki
3) Anna Gerke
1) Hats off to BEL, the PDF reads excellently!
2) Sorry for the Frenchwoman, it was obviously not her day (but still a close second)
3) Wow! Second place in the FP, and except for one unclear edge, flawless! Highest score for a single/combination element -> 3Lo+2A+2A+SEQ 13.51! (I'd rather not comment on the program components...); nice positive jump in performance (171.78)
Anna must have been beaming in the K&C... Congratulations. Super!:wave2:

The top 3 pairs from the junior pairs are really special ❤️
Moss/Galbavy had reaaaallllyyy good expression that I want to keep watching them!!!!! I feel blessed to be able to see them IRL.

Also, Anna shows how much of a fighter she is.
Her original technical content was to repeat the flip and loop. When she popped one of the flips, she then goes for 3T 3T as her final jumping pass.
Great fighter and great thinking to modify her technical content.

Did you perhaps record the race on your smartphone? Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything, neither video clips nor pictures (except for two pictures from the podium on Anna's IG, and “Eiskunstlauf.de,” who almost regularly delights us with good jpg's, has unfortunately not published anything)

Oh, and just out of interest, another question about the judges: BEL (gold) and FRA (silver) had one technical controller and one judge “on their side,” so to speak, while there where no one GER judge at all who could have “supported” Anna (just to put the close result between second and third place into perspective). The “Benelux judging panel” apparently couldn't deduct much from Anna's executed elements, but all the more from the “taste components,” it seems to me: Remeysen and Gladki were full of "7+", while they only gave Anna max. a few low 6p. ratings, as if she were some kind of beginner ...!? Of course! I didn't see anything live, so for now I can only compare the PDF results weigh up with other competitions. How do you rate the program components?
