I love how choreo spin notes for Aleksandr vary from 0 to 5 🙃. For one judge it's absolutely excellent spin, for other it's the most basic spin ever with no added value whatsoever and for others it's either good but no too good or just meh. I just love it when judges agree on what's the quality they want. I'm sure it won't cause any controversies during the season and will be an objective measure of skaters' skills 👌.
... excuse the sarcasm, I know it's early in the season and judges are also learning (a bit late, if you ask me), but I have bad feelings about this.

Thank you! Quick notes:

Kai Kovar was the best "feet on the ice" skater here, and it wasn't close. I could have done without the random cartwheel.
Daniel Martynov is doing his best in this competition to win me back... if not as a fan, then as a non-refrigerator break. And before anyone sneers at his choice of Rach for the free skate, sit through a few of those dreary music choices by others. He was a breath of fresh air in comparison.
Selevko free... what a mess. I'm not sure if that's going to be any good even if perfectly skated.
I've learned that having seen some in a competition, I am not a fan of the jump-euler-jump-axel combos. And ESPECIALLY with the horrific execution of some of those eulers.
