2026 Europeans: General Info and Pregame Chat

Hi,
If you have not bought the ticket yet I unfortunately cannot attend and have 2 all event ticket for sector 204 which is right above what you mentioned. Or if anyone else still needs tickets, I have it advertised on the official site for less than half value.
Do you still have 2 tickets available?

I have tickets for the friday saturday and Sunday, I haven't booked a hotel yet and are looking at some in the centre and Rotherham. I don't know Sheffield and just wondering about walking alone in the centre late at night, as the skating finishes at 10pm I think, what are other people doing?

I live in Sheffield - I would choose Sheffield city centre over Rotherham. Most of the city centre feels quite safe at night, and the tram runs from the Arena directly to the city centre. Which part of the city centre are you considering?

Hi everyone.
Excited for the competition. Unfortunately couldn't get the time off work so coming up to Sheffield Friday evening and only have tickets for Saturday.
Would love to meet up for a morning coffee on the Saturday!

I'm struggling to find the tickets for practice sessions on the website - are they sold out?

Hi @tabsy - the practice sessions for tomorrow definitely haven't sold out https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/isu-...6-sheffield-13-01-2026/event/350062D4D70A6FA3

But I think you're talking about the practice sessions on Saturday morning? In which case, I've been told that you can attend the practice sessions with your arena ticket - i.e. your Saturday ticket includes the morning practices too.

Been looking at the Ibis city centre, the Leopold city centre and holiday Inn Rotherham

Been looking at the Ibis city centre, the Leopold city centre and holiday Inn Rotherham
The Leopold is closer to the very centre of the city, the Ibis is a little bit further out (but still walkable). If you're thinking of catching the tram, the Ibis City Centre is right next to the tramline - it's about a two minute walk from the front door to Ponds Forge/Castle Square tram stop. Trams will take you directly to the arena from here.

The Leopold is about a five minute walk from Cathedral tram stop, where you will be again be able to take yellow route and Rotherham tram trains directly to/from the arena. Leopold hotel is also a one minute walk from City Hall tram stop, too, but only the yellow route trams go to/from the arena from here.

If you were thinking of walking around the city centre at night, then I'd probably opt for the Leopold, (but I haven't stayed at either hotel.) I don't know Rotherham at all.

Yeah I have had a look on Google maps, Ibis is near the tram stop but its below the road, looks like there is a ramp path down to it, guess this is putting me off slightly, no idea if there will be other people watching the skating staying there.

For those travelling by tram to/from the arena: at the "Arena" tram stop, they haven't updated the signage from the tram stop to the arena, and the arena is still signed as "Motorpoint Arena" - this is the same place as Utilita Arena.

The "Arena" tram stop is also the one you should use for Icesheffield, (where the other practice rink is). Icesheffield and the Arena are five minutes walk from each other.
