Skating to a very different female cover of Justin Timberlake's version of "Cry Me A River". It was so different that I didn't realise what it was until the chorus was reached. And even then it didn't resemble the song that I know in the slightest. The words were the same, but that was all that was.

I didn't like this version.

Not a bad skate, though.

No idea what the music was. It sounded like an entire film soundtrack that had been edited down to fit 3 minutes or so. (At times it reminded me of the "Magnificient Seven" music).

But, it worked well!

Second time I've heard "Forever Young" by Alphaville at this event. But it only lasted until the first line of the chorus. Because it was then replaced by an instrumental "Take On Me" by A-ha.

Unfortunately, there were a few very rough edits in the latter song.

But, apart from that, it was good.

She goes into 6th position.

I loved the way that when the scores were announced, she kept looking to the lady sitting beside her to check that it really was true!

Is it just me, or does that sound like William Shatner? I'm not familiar with this particular song, so I'm not sure.

I love his version of "Common People", and I would love to see somebody skate to it. But I'm not sure that this song works. It's more dialogue set to background music.

Why gloves that colour? It's because she's skating to "Defying Gravity" by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, from "Wicked". It started at a different position in the song to normal, so I didn't recognise it at first. But after a few lines, I realised.

That was really good.

Second time this week I've heard Alexandra Burke's cover of "Hallelujah".

That was great! I loved that!

She was very lucky at the end, because she nearly lost control of her final spin. She was so close to finishing the programme sitting on the ice. but she stayed upright.

I really enjoyed that. And so did she!

Skating to a female French blues singer. I really loved that song, and really want to know who she is!

Skating to "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes. Always loved this song, but had never seen it being skated to before. But I would like to see it done again.

I've seen this version skated to quite a few times now. And Anna did it justice.

She's got the pierogi! And the skater beside her is wearing a beautiful red and white flower crown.

Oh, I love this music. Can't remember what it is, but it is from one of the Russian composers.

I was so busy trying to remember who wore the dress that I was thinking of that I forgot to listen out for lyrics to look up the song.

I enjoyed that.

Barbara BERTASI (ITA) wearing a beautiful white dress. Like I said about another white dress earlier, it is so beautiful that it deserves to have a contrasting background.

Skating to instrumental music that was just as beautiful as the dress. It had a very mystical feel to it.
