Tara PRASAD (IND) wearing a white bra and purple dress.
Skating to a medley of songs by Lord Huron.
That was good.
And the way she lay down on the ice at the end in pure relief!
There's no doubt now that she'll be getting a medal. But what colour will it be?
She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.
And she can't believe it! What a reaction!
She is leading overall by just under 30 points!

Nikola FOMCHENKOVA (LAT) wearing a black jumpsuit with jewel encrusted collar and belt.
I have to be honest, I'm not fussed on the song at the start. But I loved the instrumental piece after it.
She had two falls, but the rest was good.
She only had an advantage of just over 2 points over Tara PRASAD (IND) from the SP. And with the score Tara just got, I can't see Nikola staying ahead of her.
And Nikola knows it. She's disappointed.
She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Skating to my favourite piece of skating music, "Lux Aeterna" by Clint Mansell. Although, I am not keen on this particular version of it.
How on Earth did she stay upright on that jump early on?!
And with the fall in the second half as well, I think she has lost her chance of the
Gold Medal. I think Tara has this.
Awwww. Lovely interraction between mother and daughter.
They are smiling, but I think they are worried.
They're keeping us waiting a very long time.

Right, with the end of the ISU part of the event, we are going to have a change of stream during this resurfacing, to prevent any of this evening's action getting lost due to the 12 hour limit.

The final day of the Silver Skate Winter Cup is a game of two halves. The first half is finishing off the normal competitions of the Interclub part of the event. And then in the afternoon, we have all the Elements competitions.

That was a novel start to the day. A Pink Panther and James Bond mash-up.
I did think it strange when the Pink Panther music started, and she wasn't wearing pink (funnily enough, the girl after her is!) She was wearing a beautiful black dress. But, it all made sense when it morphed into the James Bond music.
Unfortunately, there was somebody standing close to the microphone who was shouting during the programme. Possibly her coach. Which kinda spoiled the enjoyment.
But, even with this, I did enjoy the programme.

The fourth Pre-Chicks C girl was doing an "Aladdin" programme. She was wearing a blue dress, and skating to "Speechless" by Naomi Scott.
A big song for a little girl. But, she pulled it off.
I enjoyed it. But, I do always tend to enjoy programmes to that song.
This girl gave us a couple of funny moments.
There was one point in the middle of the programme when her coach was shouting something to her, and the wee girl couldn't make out what was being said, so she skated over towards the boards to find out!
She finished right next to the gate, and thought she was going to get a quick escape. But then her coach reminded her that she had to do her bows. And so she had to traipse to the middle of the rink, and back again.
She goes into 4th position.

We've reached the first resurfacing, so I'm going to have my breakfast. However, since it is so long until the next resurfacing, and I don't want to be sitting in my pyjamas until then, I'm going to carry on and get ready for the day. So, I will be drifting considerably behind. And, hence, will probably be largely quiet on here.
Hopefully I will get caught up by dinner time.

I know it's been half an hour since she skated, but I just had to comment about the first Basic Novice 2012-2014 girl to skate after the resurfacing.
Skater #9 was wearing a purple dress with silver sash pattern.
She was skating to the 2012 Eurovision winning song, "Euphoria" by Loreen. And she was doing some great armography in time with the music!
She went into what was 4th position at the time.

Well, that's perfect timing. I've just reached the end of the Chicks Axel competition, and my Sunday Dinner is ready.
This is the point I was always planning on bailing out at. The rest of the day is the Elements competitions and they are not really spectator competitions.
So, although I won't be watching, all the best to everybody taking part in them.
