Thanks to both of you for the initiative. It completely fell off my radar since I follow the novices very little and with the Olympics coming up. Not sure I'll be able to watch much of it if any but glad that you've shared the information

Top 3 Novice Pairs in the short all from Ecole Excellence Rosemere. I'm hoping I'll be home in time for Pre-Novice Pairs free

I'm not sure if this team had their music cut out early or they were really behind it. They had music issues at the start. If it was the music cutting out, they handled it well and didn't show it at the end.

Everyone is so thrilled with their scores, hopefully this keeps up for the last group

I think the music plus skating last got to them a bit, final team placed second. Part of the experience. And now that I switched to Pre-Novice Women, Alia Tang won silver in Pre-Novice Pairs and is currently second in Pre-Novice Women, so she's done well today with competing both.

I woke up early this morning to start watching LIVE until the Team Event.

PreNovice Pairs - I thought the 2nd placed team had the most talent. I like Michael as a coach. He seems fun!!

PreNovice Boys - I loved how the winning boy just rambled on and on during his interview. I was laughing. He mentioned he broke a Canadian record and that he helped his sister breaks Stars 9 record too. LOL!!

Novice Pairs - You mentioned it. But, wow!! The first three placements from the same Quebec camp were quite good. I actually thought they were better than some of the pairs skaters we sent to JGP circuit. What separated them from the rest of the pack were those lifts. I thought the third placed team had the best speed and flow and jumps. Shame about the fall on the throw. With our top two Pairs moving up to Seniors, these three teams from Quebec should do well enough at Next Gen to possibly get spots in the JGP circuit next season. I can’t wait for the free skate tonight

Watching Novice Pairs free, I was impressed that Singh/Mabe went for a 3Tw. 37.21 TES too, that's higher TES than the podium for last year's Trophy

Ranzi/Legault going for a 3STh and landing SBS 3S and 2A-1A, I'm expecting them on NextGen next season. I think they finally ended Singh/Mabe's reign in the TES box.

Oh definitely Ranzi/Legault for NextGen, they just set a new Canadian record for Novice Pairs (And Marykim also won Novice Women short, good day for her too )

Ecole Excellence Rosemere now with two teams on the podium, can they make it three?

Bastien/Hebia should get a bonus for timing a fall to a cymbal clash (3LoTh.) They end up in second, not far behind Ranzi/Legault, and it's an Ecole Excellence Rosemere sweep for Novice Pairs.
