@sissy7 - Lotti won the Cubs I competition!!!

She won by 2.50 points from the final girl to skate, who was from Bulgaria. They were a good bit ahead of the remaining 21 skaters.

Withdrawing from the Rooster Cup last week to focus on the Triglav Trophy this week worked out perfectly for her.

Thanks, I was keeping one eye on the scores during work, but the day got away with me...
I think this also means that she won the overall European Criterium standings in Cubs!! Soooooo proud, now I have to hunt down all the local articles

Funnily enough, although I do keep an eye on how skaters that I follow are getting on at the individual events, I have never actually looked at the overall European Criterium standings over the years.

Which is ironic given how often I have called for there to be a season's long World Cup in figure skating like there is in ski sports.

Anyway, I see that there was a Hungarian girl, Katinka SZEPLAKI, that led from start to finish in the Advanced Novice Ladies SP yesterday. Hey, imagine what it would have been like if she had been made to sit in a special leader's area for nearly 5 hours while 46 more skaters did their programmes!

They are currently half way through the Free Skate. So, it will be interesting to see if what happens. Katinka has a good size of a lead in what is otherwise an extremely close competition. My youngest kid, Oliviia BAZLOVA (CYP), is in third position.

We could have had another Hungarian girl, Lili HARTDEGEN, leading from start to finish in the Junior Ladies SP this morning. But she withdrew. As it happened, my kid in that competition, Vasilisa BOGOMOLOVA (CYP), is leading going into the FS.

Hey, we might both be celebrating by the end of the event!
