She won with 125 and some change.
Her 3T wasn’t working for her today.
Her 2A was fantastic though…..
Also, the Matrix program suits her well

Hopefully, Uxia skates solid to surpass the 145 benchmark. She must be happy she doesn’t have to worry about Lia Cho in Juniors. Please note, Uxia had the highest free skate score at NextGen of skaters skating Juniors domestically

Kate Morden has improved so much since Skate Trophy. She has added 3Lo, 3F and 3Lz to her arsenal.

141.59 total score
It will be hard for a skater from ONT or QUE to beat Kate in Novice this season.

Of course, as a skater from Scott Davis camp, she falls in her final spin. Scott really needs someone in the camp to fix all these spin issues his skaters seem to have in the spin elements.

Great skating to lead juniors category with only Uxia left to skate.

That was good for Uxia. Combos were good in the beginning and while she struggled on a few of the jumps, she went for all triples and didn't pop anything. Strong ending too, love the choreo.

Uxia will be close with this skate. She should score around 90ish.

I’m hoping she did enough. She really deserves at least ONE international event.

The sound has been really low all weekend on the stream from the Chemco rink, but I had to turn my volume down for the stream from Aspen rink. They must have the microphones positioned differently.
