The 4th EDGE Cup 2026 is set to take place January 27 - February 2, 2026, in Katowice, Poland, at the Jantor 1 ice rink.

It will feature the Singles & Pair skating and Ice Dance (Novice, Junior and Senior) disciplines and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations, and relevant ISU Communications.

Day 1 of the Edge Cup is all about the Novice Solo Pattern Dances. And it is a mixture of the format that I like, and the format that I don't like. We start off with the Basic Novices and Intermediate Novices doing their first set of Pattern Dances, and then coming back to do their second set. But then we finish with the Advanced Novices doing both of their sets of Pattern Dances back-to-back.

Like yesterday, Day 2 is all about Ice Dancing. The difference is that today we have partnerships on the ice as well. We start off with all the Novice Solo Free Dances, and then finish the day with the Junior and Senior partnerships doing their Short Dances.

Just a note abut the livestreams.

Unfortunately, you can't pause or re-wind them.

However, they do get archived once the broadcast is over.

I wasn't able to watch yesterday because I finally gave in and decided to install Windows 11 on the desktop this week, to see if that will get it working properly again. That way, I can use the desktop for the Olympics while leaving the laptop free for other usage. But, I made a few mistakes yesterday, so I have to go back and re-do yesterday's part of the process today.

It's a shame, but hey.

Are you maybe still looking at the Entries / Results page that is specifically for Solo Dance? The Ice Dance competitions are on the main Entries / Results page:

This is why I prefer when there is one Entries / Results page for the whole event. Because it is a nuisance, and confusing, jumping back and forward between different pages.

By the way, unfortunately the Time Schedule PDF's aren't working for the Edge Cup.

The Juniors are currently at their first resurfacing.

Sorry I didn't catch your post earlier. Re-installing everything on the desktop isn't going as smoothly as I would have liked.

According to it, my kids Seraina TSCHARNER / Laurin WIEDERKEHR (CHE) are currently leading with 56.07 points. And the previous partnership to skate, Tetiana BIELODONOVA / Ivan KACHUR (UKR), went into 3rd position with 51.13 points.

Sorry, as I was writing that, your fellow Ukrainians got pushed down to 4th by the Kobor twins.

Day 4 is the last day that is all about Ice Dancing. We start by finishing off the Solo Dance competitions with the Junior and Senior skaters doing their Free Dances. Then the Novice partnerships come out to do their Pattern Dances. (And they are using the format I like - all the PD1's, followed by all the PD2's).

Day 5 is starting now and for the first time this week, we do not being with Solo Dancing. We start off with the first Singles Skating competitions of the week with the first two Advanced Novice competitions, then we finish off the Ice Dancing with the Novice partnerships, then return to the Advanced Novice girls, and finally into the Junior and Senior Singles skaters.

Day 6 is Singles Skating Sunday. In fact, it is all Singles skating for the rest of the event. We start today off with all the Advanced Novice Free Skate segments, then have the Senior Free Skate segments, and finally finish off the day with the Junior Short Programme segments.
