Lorenza Alessandrini and Pierre Souquet (also known as Pierre Souquet-Basiege) are ice dancers representing France.

Lorenza was born in 6 August 1980 in Milan, Italy.

Pierre was born on 18 July 1994 in Paris, France.

The team was formed prior to the start of the 2014-2015 season, after Alessandrini and former partner Simone Vaturi split up. Alessandrini and Vaturi had been the Italian bronze medalists three times but had failed to make much progress internationally. Souquet formerly skated for France with Peroline Ojardais.

Alessandrini and Souquet are French 2016 silver and 2017 bronze medalists. They also participated in the CS and GP events and numerous international competitions.

In February 2018 Lorenza announced her retirement from skating and concentrating on coaching. Shortly afterwards, Pierre teamed up with Julia Wagret. The fan fest for Pierre and Julia is here:
https://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?78886

They were coached by Muriel Zazoui, Oliver Schoenfelder, Diana Ribas and Roberto Pelizzola in Lyon.

Original Post by tulosai, November 2015

I've really been enjoying these two this year and thought they should have a fan fest of their own! Their SD this year especially appeals to me- it is very light and French  They just finished their SP at Tallinn.

Alessandrini and Souquet are the 2015-2016 silver medalists of France. They will make their Grand Prix debut at Trophée de France 2016.

I have updated their OP, too.

I think that maybe Alessandrini's date of birth (or more the year ) is wrong ? probably more 1990 than 1980 ?

I'm really enjoying their Love Actually program this year :) It's nice to see them incorporating some new lifts, too. I hope they'll be able to do well at Nationals :cheer:

I was happy the French federation allowed these two to compete at Worlds this year  though sad of course that they didn't make the free program :( Hopefully they'll still be competing next year, I'll miss them when they retire.

Some time has passed since Lorenza made the announcement, but since there was no info about it here, I decided to post it. She decided to retire from the competitive skating and concentrate on coaching that was always her big dream:

Over the next days I will try to update Lorenza and Pierre's thread so that all the info about their programs and results is complete.

I've just updated their OP so that this couple that is no longer competing together has a complete summary of their career in one post :)
