She is adorable! I watched her programs from nationals. Sprightly, energetic skating. Watching her makes me smile. Triple-triples!

Dida she compete anywhere this season?

She was at the first challenger of the season, the Asian Open, but she haven't participate at the novice national, nor the junior, as a result. I dunno why she withdrew from the nats, she was in the entry list before the competition starting.

Maybe some japanese users know more about it...

Yes, Hanna was competing early on during the season, even landing 3A in a local competition. But too many early competitions led to injury. In the end she had to skip Novice nationals due to the injury, and hence didn't get invitation to junior nationals. The most recent appearance of Hanna was at the Nagoya Skating Festival after the new year. It looks like she's recovered from injury so she was able to skate again. But it seems no other plan to enter any competition either locally or internationally this season for her (She's not listed in the local competition for Junior High School competition that is currently underway).

She returned local competition last weekend (Feb 28 - Mar 3) and skated as Junior.
According to protocols, she attempted all kind of triples up to 3Lz and finished 7th.

I wish her recovery and development will be in time for upcoming season's JGP selection.

landing 7 triples and scored 3 digits at FS.

Hana just (I think?) landed a clean 3A in her National Sports Festival FS...

At least I think it was clean. Japanese judges can be tough. Can anyone confirm?

Was this the first 3A that Hana has landed in competition? I believe she's attempted it at Nationals the past couple years without success. (Does anyone have links to these programs? Not finding them on YouTube.)

@denise3lz

Hana won Bavarian open with a clean free skate and a good FS score (133).
She won't get a jwc spot (even if she has beaten by 10 points the girl who got it), but at least she got international experience this year.
I'm a bit worried because she wasn't looking so thin earlier in the season.

Congrats to Hana for her superb SP today. Good that she can get some senior experience (and major comps minima).

Congrats to Hana for the win at western sectionals in seniors. Good luck for senior nats!
