Darya Grimm (born: 13 November, 2006, in Wuppertal, Germany) and Michail Savitskiy (born: 01 July, 2003 in Offenbach am Main, Germany) were ice dancers representing Germany. The team split in May 2025. Grimm & Savitskiy are the first German Ice Dance couple to win a medal at the ISU World Junior Championships (bronze in 2024).

They are the 2024 and 2025 World Junior bronze medalists, the 2023-24 and 2024-25 JGP Final bronze medalists, the 2023 JGP Linz and Gdansk champions, the 2022 JGP Riga champions and the 2022 JGP Poland silver medalists. They are also four time German Jr. national champions (2022-2025)

They placed 5th at the 2022 World Junior Championships.

They both previously competed in singles. They were coached by Matteo Zanni, Barbora Reznickova, Katharina Mueller, Maurizio Margaglio, and Neil Brown in Oberstdorf/GER, Egna/ITA, and Helsinki/FIN

In early 2025, at age eighteen, Darya married Russian-born ice dancer, Grigorii Rodin, who went on to become her ice dance partner later that year. They will compete starting in the 2026-2027 season.

In September 2025, Michail teamed up with Japanese ice dancer, Sara Kishimoto. The team planned to represent Germany and are training full-time in Canada. Due to Kishimoto's decision to switch countries, the team are required to sit out of international competition for a whole year.

Congratulations on winning 2023 junior nationals with 168.06 pts! 🥇🥇Two-time German junior champions!
Their FD at Deutsche Meisterschaften:

"It's a great honor to have won the title for the second time here at home," said Darya Grimm. "For the Junior World Championships, we are setting similar goals as last year - top five would be great, if not even better," said Michail Savitskiy, looking ahead to the season's highlight.

DEU posted a video interview with Darya and Michail last month. They enjoyed JGPF and were satisfied with how they skated. They will also stay in juniors for the 23-24 season!

Congratulations to Darya and Michail - 2023 Bavarian Open junior champions! They have come a long way since their advanced novice times at Bavarian Open 3 years ago!

Their RD scored 67.89 (even higher than at nationals) thanks to some good key points:

The free dance scored 97.82, a good score for them with only the spin losing a couple of levels, just over a point worth.

They scored a great total of 165.71 here, hope they continue this form in Calgary next month! :hap10:

Congrats to Darya and Michail on their gold medal at JGP Austria!
Here's the winners interview with them:

I am a big fan of their free dance! Carmen done well :giggle: Can't wait to see it with more practice and polish!

This is an excellent interview! I recommend it to all fans of G/S.
Interesting to hear that Michail started with gymnastics and international piano concerts, Darya's English is also fluent and poetry is a wonderful passion to have!

Congratulations to Darya and Michail on their gold medal at JGP Gdansk!
