The 16th Tirnavia Ice Cup is scheduled to take place Nov 1-3, 2024, in Trnava, Slovakia. The event will feature the singles (Women and Men) discipline in the Novice, Junior and senior categories and Junior pairs.

It will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating and relevant ISU Communications.

Still no sign, from what I can see.

The organisers of the Tirnavia Cup are cutting it rather fine getting the entries announced. For goodness sake, skating starts in 3 days time! :drama:

But, on the plus side, it looks like there will be streaming on the following YouTube channel:

It seems legit. Not only is there already a skating video on the channel, but when I searched for the name Jozef Čurma, the results came up with two Facebook profiles for people from Trnava with that name. One of them is a guy who posts a lot of skating posts and is connected with a lot of skaters. The other, who I suspect may be his son, is a Junior Men's skater.

EDIT: Just did some more digging, and found out that the older Jozef is the chairman of the Trnava club. So, I think we can take that as confirmation that the stream is legit!​

He is! And there is also a Jakub Čurma just above him in the entry list. I wonder if they are brothers. They both belong to the local club, anyway.

Bit disappointed that only one of the Lengyelova sisters (Olivia) is entered for the host nation. And, for that matter, only one of the Joos sisters (Sarina) is entered for Italy (yes, I admit, when I was checking again for Noemi, I was looking for her name next to a Swiss flag!)

Good to see that there is a Pairs competition included. It may only be 4 partnerships, but it is better than none!

Depending on whether the Volvo Open Cup has a free stream or not, I may just watch some of this event around the MotoGP and Formula 1.
