Road to 26 Trophy (OWG test event) | Feb 19-20

Road to 26 Trophy is set to take place Feb 19-20, 2025, in Assago, Italy. The competition serves as an Olympic Winter Games (OWG) test event for all disciplines (Singles, Pairs and Ice Dance) in the senior category.

The event will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2024, the Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2024, and the relevant ISU Communications.

Yes. I suspect it's a test event for Isabeau... in more ways than one. It will be nice to see her again, and I hope she does well.

I don't think Skate Canada needed to send a full team but Lauriault Le Gac in dance or even Hensen Lickers as well as Bombardier Mimar in pairs would have been good options.... I am guessing they don't want the alternates to go there, in case spots open up for 4CC BUT STILL. UGH.
