I've read a lot of complaints about program components scores.
I think more transparency would resolve most of the issues surrounding it.

The score is currently divided into five components:

- Skating skills
- Transitions
- Performance
- Interpretation of the music
- Composition

As for me the ISU should use these components instead:

- Jump difficulty
- Reputation
- National affiliation
- Attractiveness
- Crowd cheering volume

They're simple, straightforward, and easy for casual viewers to understand.

Haha. So, really just codify the traditional categories used for judging? I like it. 🤣🤣

That's almost... too perfect. How to manipulate those kind of PCS ?

Ok but if these were implemented I wouldn't even be mad because at least the scores could be fair and correct for the first time ever. Also, add the 'Coach/Club' category for national events and perfection will be reached.

Coach/Club can be subcategory for Reputation

Brilliant idea :agree: Then, the skaters are not confused anymore about following the rules or not

I only have one problem with this. What is the hierarchy of national affiliations not one's own? I mean, I'm American, so they get the best scores. But after that am I obligated to put Russians last just because they are Russian? And what if my all time favorite skating coach is Tamara Moskvina? I see problems ahead!
