That was lower than I hoped. 72.79 won't get Adelia in the final six in that last group unless a couple girls make big mistakes. That's possible but not likely. But there's no guarantee that Isabeau is going to get over 72.79. and if another girl struggles a bit Petro could find herself in the final group.Congratulations to Petrosian on a solid skate and backloaded combo. Depending on how the Japanese and the Americans skate, that should place her in the top of the penultimate group or top 6 if one of them blinks. But I assume top 6 will score 75+
Two reasons it's kind of risky I guess and flanker says Adelia had injury pain after Nationals where Adelia hit that triple axle. Why didn't she go for 3A?
I hope this good short program gives Adelia confidence for the lp. Because she's going to have to be flawless and daring.Too risky. If she falls on it, it's at the start, errors build up, she can be out of FS. This Olympics was all about FS win in all the disciplines. So far we only know of 2 skaters willing to risk 3A.
She already advanced into the final flight. She is doing fine.I hope this good short program gives Adelia confidence for the lp. Because she's going to have to be flawless and daring.
Not stable enough. After new year Adeliia's injury renewed, she suffered from pain and had to interrupt training for a while. She had enough time to stabilize 4T or 3A but not both. So they rather decided for 4T. As they say SP won't win the competition but can lose it.Why didn't she go for 3A?
