I would have hoped that she would skate her SP to that French song that she was so engaged with and would sing along while skating. MJ just seems so unserious and beneath her IMO. It's a fun program of course, but not for winning an Olympic gold IMO.

I would also prefer Voila, but MJ is probably understood as a message.

I dont think she will be keeping it for the Olympics. She is probably just bringing it for the qualifiers because she is comfortable with it.

I disagree. While I absolutely love Voila program and also would prefer it, that MJ program is powerful and beautiful too and I don't see anything unserious about it. Besides, she can really win Olympic Gold with any program...

Oh, I understand, I liked the MJ program. But let's deal with the issues. MJ is a primarily "American" song, and she's not going to be winning over the American judge/audience with it, ala Candyman. Voila is MUCH more appropriate for an international audience/judging panel IMO.

Nah, someone like Adeliia after being persecuted, mocked, disrespected and ignored by the world despite having the highest senior career average in female skating history being given the opportunity to annihilate the entire community with the biggest gap in history at the Olympics, with her artistic talent and emotional presence, wasting the opportunity on that MJ program would be a disaster.
