Advice on skates for single jumps

I currently skate in Jackson mistiques (size 7). I’ve noticed they are too big and since I’m starting single jumps I figured it’s time to buy new boots. I opted for edea overtures (size 245/250) but they are hardly available in ma country. I’ve found however used edea chorus in my area but I’ve checked on the official site that they are suitable for jumping doubles and their stiffness index is 75. Maybe someone more experienced could tell me if I should get them?

I have no issues with waltz jump just need to work a little on the height, I’m working on my scratch spin and I’ve also started working on toeloop, salchow and loop (off ice, walk throughs, etc. but i have not landed any yet). The skates that I’ve found were used for one season so I guess they might feel softer(?).

We need to know first your height and weight, to determine the stiffness rating you need. As for brands, we need to know your foot shape -- the slant or not of your toes, the height of your arches, if you have narrow heels compared to the ball of the foot -- to know which brand is right for you. Different brands of boots fit different shaped feet, and an adult beginning single jumps will need stiffer boots than a child skating at the same level. A good fitter will measure your feet all over, not just the length as with shoes, but over the internet we need you to give us a detailed description of your foot shape. (And even then we'll still tell you to consult a good fitter once we've suggested the best brands for your feet; if you can tell us where you live, someone who knows skate shops in your vicinity can recommend a place.)

Hi, thx for replying. I have egyptian shape of feet, high arch, bunions on both feet, my heels are narrower than the ball of my foot (my feet are overall narrow). I’m 165cm and 58kg. As I said before buying new skates is quite problematic here due to lack of shops, that’s why I’m considering buying second hand (I’m not a professional I skate purely for fun 3-4 times a week if it matters)

Hi. What country are you in and I can probably suggest pro figure skate fitter for you there. Also, I can make brand and boot style suggestions for you to look at and try.

Heads up that a skating pro wouldn't be asking for this advice or your level of skating so that was a given to us. Pro skaters are top level retired skaters for the most part. Just thought I'd clear that up and help you out with that.

It would be awesome if you gave me some suggestions tho) then maybe I would know which shop to go to to have them

Hi. There are actually 4 shops in your country. The one I suggest is Ice Style in Opole Poland, they would have the best experience with figure skate fitting. The boots I would suggest for you would be Risport RF3 based on your needs and your feet as well as height/weight. You will need to pair them with a standard intermediate blade like MK Professional or John Wilson Coronation Ace.

The other choice for a suitable shop for fitting skates would be SPIN in Warsaw, Poland.
