Alexandra Trusova switching from Tutberidze to Plushenko

Yes, you have mentioned many times how perfect you think Anna is, I’m sure she would do everything the correct way. :sarcasm: At least what the correct way is according to you.

What exactly Sasha did not do correctly in your eyes?

I'm glad my love for Anna is confirmed publicly. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!:biggrin:

Now seriously, there is no reason for discussion when your comment is utterly negative and trying to put me into a defensive position. I don't need to justify myself.

Where is Yagudin in all this? He must have some interesting opinions on the pilfering of EG's pupils by his did arrival of 20-plus years. What Plushenko is doing is basically akin to someone running a marathon and then a half mile before the finish line someone else takes over and finishes the race race. I mean who can't coach Sasha at this stage or Veronika one of the best novices ever?

As for young Sergei he has put a lot of pressure on himself. Now coaches move up all the time like they're supposed to and it's very well could be the correct career move for him. But if it fails...

I don't know, I just remember he liked the Team Tutberidze's reaction to Plushenko's and Tarasova's claims (esp. reaction to Tarasova was probably what reconciled Alina with Trankov, who has obviously some issues with her as well :) ), then being somehow reproached behind the courtain, he took his like back and wrote some words in Tarasova's interest.

Why even bring Yagudin into this? He has/is working at another Academy in Minsk, Belarus, right?

Good for Yagudin if he has nothing to say about all this.

What would he say? "I didn't like Plushenko then and I don't like him now"?

And vice versa. But I'm also happy he didn't comment about the situation. He use to comment about Plushenko's things all the time. So, I'm surprised and happy.

People were saying about Tarasova, that she wasn't a real coach, because she took a champion from Mishin. Yagudin had to prove, that she was a good coach.

Yagudin is careless. I think he can "like" a post almost without reading it.
When he was asked whether he preferred Medvedeva or Zagitova, he answered: "Tutberidze" (both girls were her students back than). He is ready to support Tutberidze.

Well

Sima: She trained there for one season. She was in trouble she had problems with the family. She started to train there with injury , Plushenko payed her medical treatment and hausing in Moscow. When they learned Sima received a spot in the US GP, in Lake Placid Plushenko postponed some shows in Slovakia. Otherwise we could see the shows in his schedule before Sima arrived to the Academy. Probably many posters remember this. Plushenko had visa to US solely. He and Zakarian run from the small slovakien cities to Bratislava, after Bratislava to Moscow and form Moscow to US and then they travelled by car to Lake Placid. And all of these under 1 day. She improved in jumps especially in Axel. But Sima was all alone in Moscow she was the only one senior in the school, in the group and she missed her family so much. She left the Academy.

Yes, Plushenko was too honest when she moved from him. You can criticize him because of that but do not take from him what is well done what he did for Sima. He helped her and probably Plushenko has feelings too. ;) If Sima would have been so offended didn't recommend the Academy to Tarakanova. She was. LOL!

Sima: "I didn’t live in a rented apartment, but in a communal apartment. This is just crazy! I lived with a woman, thank God, not with some strange people there, men. In general, it's normal. But when I washed, she screamed at me for every extra drop of water. Okay, my mother would have done it, but a stranger ... It’s getting scary."
"Then there was still not enough money. I had an average of 200 rubles (3$) a day. When you live on 200 rubles (3$) a day with your parents, this is normal, but when you need to buy a dishwashing detergent, shampoo, it's hard. I ate instant porridge for three rubles from the Crossroads and sweet tea, so that there were at least some calories.
Then I went to Yevgeny Viktorovich and told everything as it is. I explained that I can no longer rent an apartment, there is no money at all. I said that I can no longer stay in Moscow. He replied: “Well then, go to another coach. Or finish. " And I left. Nobody stopped me."

I'm not saying she was offended. That's not the point
A professional athlete had to live on 90$ per month and share apartment with a troubling neighbour
So when she came to him, he didn't offer any solutions "Go to another coach or end your career"

Plyushchenko: "Maybe she was counting on full financial coverage - cars, apartments, something else ... Payment of everything ..."
In fact it was Plyushchenko who felt offended. "She turned her back on me"

It's sad that their connect fnished on this way and because of that reason. I didn't knew it I just knew the start. And she payed for the trainings, too? I read in articles the talented students don't pay for the trainings. I would like to read the article, show me, please

she didn't pay for trainings - that was what attracted her to train under Plushenko.

Yes, I believe that half of the students don't pay for the trainings. That's great. Plushenko should have told that in more kindly way he didn' pay for Sima later on. :( especially because when he was 11 he lived all alone for one year in St. Petersburg in a communal apartment, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgdtM2Hyk94 Awful environment. And after Mishin helped them when his mother moved to him. Jesus! That was 27 years ago!

Well, it's interesting..I can't read all of your quotes. I don't know where come it from. I found two articles
https://www.sports.ru/figure-skating/1075305485.html

and the original, the source from sport express https://www.sport-express.ru/figure...henko-skolko-zarabatyvayut-figuristy-1553511/

I was really in shock when I read Plushy's rude words, because he doesn't use to say on that way. And I was looking for Sima's original interview. Worth to read!

"With the transition to Evgeny Viktorovich (Plushenko. - Approx. "SE"). There I trained with Julia Lavrenchuk and Alexei Vasilevsky, and they did not scold me at all. In terms of performance, they set an example for younger and even older boys. As I start jumping, there is no stopping it. I jump up mistakes, of course, I do it in a hurry wrong, but this also affects muscle memory. And at the competitions, all these “beautiful” jumps on emotions emanated.

They were able to direct it in the right direction, stopped. They gave us confidence, and we still communicate very well.

- Why didn’t you continue to work with them?

“They were fired.” For what? This did not depend on us, unfortunately.

But it was still not easy in Moscow. I didn’t live in a rented apartment, but in a communal apartment. This is just crazy! She lived with the mistress, thank God, not with some strange people there, men. In general, it’s normal. But when I washed, they screamed at me for every extra drop of water. Okay, my mother would have done it, but a stranger ... It’s getting scary. And also there is nobody nearby, there are no parents. As a result, at some point I stopped thinking about figure skating, it all crushed me. Injury, inability to jump, apartment, the dismissal of coaches ... In fact, I finished for a month and a half.

“And how did you return?”

- I well remember that day - March 8th. My mother read some forum and saw that Nastya had left Angelina Nikolaevna (Gubanova. - Approx. "SE"). And I thought that my chance, a sign. We must continue, I can still do something in sports.

- But in general, did you like Moscow as a Petersburger, despite the communal apartment?

- In fact, in St. Petersburg I had almost no friends, support. That is, I had no one to go to the movies with, and all that. It so seems that what difference does she make to her figure skater? And these emotions help a lot. And when I moved to Moscow for the second time, Evgeny Viktorovich had a very cool group, such a team! All for one another mountain, as one family. Words can not convey.

In St. Petersburg to Moscow, I was clogged. And when you are treated like garbage, it’s unpleasant. In the group they thought - well, like, let them ride. Like an extra bag. Perhaps some people relate to others based on their achievements. Thank God, now there are no such people around me."

So, I'm waiting for Sima's other interview where she said it.

And you couldn't find the other ones

Now he has the unique opportunity to more than just balance the points account. ;-)

When did you read when I say he is perfect or he can't be criticised? :) I'm not perfect, too. And who is it? Those people at "moral heights" here? You believe me I know his real weakness. Maybe I know more as you. I just don't like the duble standard and the lyings about him.

Many coaches had bad words on their students: Mishin, Frank Carroll, Zhulin, Tutberidze, Nobuo Sato.....probably I can mention more coaches if I'm looking for. These names were mentioned on another forum.. That is not unique. All of them are terrible persons? Or only Plushenko? What do you think? I didn'n mention Yuna and Brian's case about the money....

Wich other coaches trains cca 60 children for free, There is any other coach who has children group who have down syndrome? Wich other coaches pay the housing for their students? For example BOrser for Medvedeva? Or he trains Zhenya for free? I blame him for his rude words.

I understand your nice "rap" but I remained his fan ;)

You understood it wrong. It was just a joke. I'm not one of those people who either condemn people or take them to heaven. I see it the same way as you. Everyone has goods and bads. All that is talked about here are "facts" from the media. Nobody knows the actual situation on the ice rinks, nobody has spoken a single word to the people involved, but everyone knows better. Whenever a criticism of Eteti's methods has been expressed, it has always been pointed out precisely. Suddenly nobody cares anymore. When it came to the risk of injury, it was always said that only the parents were concerned. Now the parents are suddenly the bad driving force in the background. All this laundry is double-tongued, nothing else. But whatever. This is probably what forums are for.

So head up! :-)
