Yup, I also wanted to say, that despite Covid, despite puberty and growth spurt, despite all those things people were saying will make her lose jumps, Trusova added a new jump to her repertoire. Need a moment for this to sink in.

Julia Lipnitskaya congratulated (I presume) Sasha on her instagram story. I like her dress and think this program will be a very good vehicle for her. The 3A is very nice and airy.

Illusion mesh backing, probably. Pretty common, I think pairs/dance costumes have it a lot. For me I thought rather that the bodice/skirt could have had a bit less puff/appliqué to flatter her body line better, it seems a bit baggy at the chest/midriff Nice colour though, reminds me of Ashton's ballet The Dream.

Same, I hope she does it in every SP from now on.

A bit sad that she used the old GOT dress (rewatched 2019 Japan Open recently so I can confirm), but it does suit the program and if I understood correctly it's only temporary, so no big deal.

I really enjoyed her performance today, it was a lot better than test skates - she was really delicate and attentive to her movements on the Korseniowsky part, and the step sequence, wow !! I love Dance of the Knights and it just suits her powerful style so well. Can't wait to see her get more and more comfortable with the choreo, the improvement already is as impressive as her quads.

Also having Daria Usacheva skate right after her showed how much Sasha's program was more thought-out (the music cuts are a lot smoother, the power of the songs match her explosive jumps perfectly) while poor Daria really got lowballed by her team ; even though she skated beautifully, the music just isn't doing nothing for her.

Congratulations on Sasha ! Even with the mistakes on the jumps, she just keeps on getting better, I'm so happy for her, the gold was well deserved
