I’m with you. I would love for there to be some form of World Championships or competition that is completely merit based and doesn’t have guaranteed (or limited) berths per country. I’d even be game for not setting an age limit. The competition would have to be private though and not done through the ISU as to not take the spotlight away from ISU’s Worlds and GPF. I just want to see the absolute best skaters competing together while they are all at the top of their game. :’(

I wish that there was some sort of adjustment made to qualifying to JWC/WC:
if you have above a ____ score, you are automatically invited and do not use up one of your country's berths
that way, more of the talented Russian junior ladies could have gone, and we could have seen a podium sweep

that way, more of the talented Russian junior ladies could have gone, and we could have seen a podium sweep

I see this thing in may sports, like Norvegians probably could qualify much more men for classical skiing than the quota is and so on. It would be interresting to have some qualification tournaments just as it is in GP or somehow correct the rules for number of entries, e.g. if you win gold and all three skaters/pairs from that country take positions among first 5, you get one more entry or something like that.

I am sure that everybody knows that she broke both junior and senior ladies FS TES record by almost 10 points but I think it is also worth mentioning that there has been only ONE junior men who has EVER scored better FS TES and that is Vincent Zhou and even he has done it only once. I mean seriously, her TES score was better than what Jin Boyang, Daniel Samohin, Shoma Uno or Nathan Chen ever scored as a junior. Her TES is better than what any Russian junior men have ever scored.

I don't know how many senior men have scored better FS TES than what Sasha have but at the moment there are only 9 men who have scored above 100 FS TES points, which in theory could be within Sasha's reach.

– I haven’t cut my hair since birth, only the ends. Then I saw a cartoon about Rapunzel, and in my childhood I wanted to be like her
