Alexandra Trusova

I think so... ugh

Some people (Eteri) may have thought Alexandra and some of the other girls in her group were spending too much time on the internet and Instagram. I don't know what happened what's Sasha is getting so much attention from around the world maybe they just want her to lay low for a little while. But it is the off-season so who the heck knows.

I just hope she's safe and not jumping new quads ten hours a day...

Nah I'm sure they are careful, I remember Daniil saying in an interview that you can only do it a few times and that they have to literally stop her because she just wants to jump [emoji1]

yeaaa... really? Did Eteri said it to you in person? :sarcasm::disapp: Aren't you tired of making up things?

I dont think they will over do it with Sasha. There is no rush because she won't be on the senior level for a couple years. But watch out for her at the next Russian Nationals! ;)

Its called a theory. People here are wondering why Sasha shut down her Instagram. Therefore some people try to figure out why she would do that. I'm not on Instagram I never was I never cared about it. But many posters here do care about it and are curious as to why Sasha shut down her Instagram account.

Wouldn't Sasha be eligible for Senior Grand Prix next season?

She was barely eligible to skate in juniors this season. If she would have born something like 8 days later she wouldn't have been eligible to skate in juniors this season.

I am pretty sure Mao Asada was eligible for Grand Prix in 2005-2006 season but not Olympics and Worlds. This is really confusing!!!

But the Wikipedia page said 14...

Let's hope the figure skating Brain Trust and I use that term loosely does not screw around with the age limits. But I am concerned that the ISU doesn't want to see young skaters great at 15 years old anymore like Alina was this year winning on their technical ability or jumping or outscoring the others. As for Sasha I only hope she brings her quads out for the bigger events. hopefully she'll be on the senior level when the time is right for her and that should be the year 2020.

yes. they change it.
from 2014-2015 season you must be 15 y.o. to be eligible for Grand Prix

I think the age eligibility rules are less confusing now than what they were before the rule change. In season 2013–2014 Lena Radionova was 14 and she was senior GP eligible. She made it to the GP Final where she was 4th. However, at that time ISU had different eligibility rules for the GP series and ISU senior Championships and because of those different rules Radionova wasn't eligible for Euros or Worlds. At that time skaters had to be at least 14 if they wanted to skate at the GP series but 15 if they wanted to skate at the ISU senior championships. After 2013–2014 season ISU made some rule changes and one of the thigns they did was the unification of the age eligibility rules. So, after the rule change a skater has to be at least 15 to be eligible to skate at the GP series or ISU Championships. That is why Radionova could skate at the GP series at the age of 14 but Trusova can not.

I actually liked that rule when you can skate at the senior GP at14 but you had to be 15 for the world championship this way they could get some valuable experience at age 14 like Radiaova did and then not skate too much at 14.
