I’d say Sasha improved her core skating skills tremendously. Of all performances I’ve caught this season I think she is the most improved all around in regards to basic balance, power, and execution.

Both Alena and Sasha are so good and IMO we’re kind of nitpicking. If Sasha were as good at performing as she is at jumps no one would survive. Yin Yang type of thing maybe...scales must balance.

Trusova's a monster of a skater and I mean that in the best possible way. Not only is she jumping quads like it's nothing, but she is captivating as a performer. She commands your attention with her intensity. I also agree that she is most improved, and out of all the Russian skaters' programs that I've seen (senior and junior) that I've seen, I like her FS the best.

I think that Trusova's shown to be more musical. Alena's superior in "looking beautiful" and body positions, but Trusova feels the music much more whereas Alena looks like she's just skating with some music on the background.

Also, artistically Trusova's improved the most in comparison to last year. I wonder when people will stop criticizing her "lack of musicality" because it just is no longer true.

Tru has great skating skills. Much better than Ye Lim Kim, the silver medalist of the last GP. But her hand and arm movements need more maturity. I think if she were refined more in the upper body movement, she would be one of the best performers of ladies in general.
