I hope sashas foot is healthy and we get to see her spectacular self in the TT shows this offseason.

Everyone should be so proud of Sasha over coming the broken foot to do that all time incredible 5 quad free skate at the olympics. :) It may never bee done again at the olympics by a lady figure skater..

Five quads may be not enough to win the next Olympics. The ghost is free from his bottle.

What ghost?

We won't see 5 clouds again from the ladies at the Olympics in fact I think Nathan Chen was the 1st man to ever land 5 quads at the Olympics. Sasha isn't pretty good company there. ;)

I mean the next OGM will have to do 6 quads or 5+trixel/two trixels and doing only 5 quads may be not enough.
Last Olympics, judges could not award the gold to 5quad program because it was too complex to understand.
Next Olympics, they will be sorry for 5 quads to be "too simple if not primitive".

i don't think so. Sasha is currently the only woman who is able to do a 5 quad program. Olympic champion Anna can't, and neither can Kamila. most skaters in general don't do any quads or 3As. we are nearing the edge of what is humanly possible and i don't think we will ever see a day where a 5 quad program will be primitive, or at least not for many many years.

Hasn't the opposite been proven? Even five quads couldn't get Sasha the gold. Ironically had she not been so ambitious and done the 2A in the SP then she would have won overall.

Having said that it was an amazing feat :) I love Sasha's ambition and I hope she keeps going for it!

I think that's one of the many things that upset super Sasha was that but her 5 quad program got beaten by a 2 quad program even as great as that 2 quad program was.
We don't know what's going to happen at the next Winter Olympics or if Russia will even be allowed to compete there or if Anna and Sasha will still be active. I just don't see another lady out there able to do 5 quads with hands over her head.

What happens to sasha now? Does she continue on with uncertainty about Russia's sports future or does she retire after mission accomplished 5 quads at the Olympics?
I hope she stays she is a superstar. She has given a lot to the sport.

Sasha had understood her defeat as "the five is not enough".
(would she do her 4Lz-Eu-3S the gold easily going to proper hands)

P.S. I'm in doubt if IOC will decide to strip OAR from all medals? If so, the loosing OGM would be not so tragic. Coz it's on;y mere silver
(silver used in Russia to clean water for no other reason to have)

Sasha could have won the gold. If she didn't do the 3A in the short program she may have one.

Russia had no one test positive at at the Winter Olympics or after summer Olympics last summer. Did they? Why would the ioc strip their medals? If they did that Russia would take it to CAS. Valieva competed because her urine sample took a staggering 6 weeks to test. If they knew before the Olympics she tested positive they would have pulled her out put Liza in and still won the team gold medal by 9 points with Anna and sasha competing. CAS has already noted that Russia was at a disadvantage and it was not fair to their team to have the test finalized after the team event.
 
They might strip Team Gold, but why would they strip the medals/ranks from the athletes who competed clean? The news said they tested Scherbakova and Trusova immediately after Valieva’s test came to light. They tested them after the event too. They were clean.
