Sasha's Olympic free skate video has reached a million views. Not even Shcherba, Nathan Chen, P/C or Sui/Han's free skate get as many views. Champions win medals, LEGENDS write history.

I'm a little surprised. This video may have been blocked in some countries, but as far as I can see Sasha leads the way in views on the Olympic channel with 3.1 million views.

Legend! Ending a career will not hurt to continue to sincerely admire Yuzuru Hanyu! I am proud that I got a chance, and not one, to share ice with him!

I love Yuzuru, so I am very partial to this message from Sasha while dealing with the very mixed feelings. Their SBS 4T video is one of my all-time favorites, not just because of how good and in synch they are (which they are), but also because ever since I first saw it I've admired the gumption of a 15-year old Sasha, at her first senior GP event, to approach a legend and ask to perform together something never even attempted before (at least I think!?). A lady of truly unique ambition and vision!

Just Sweden...
The embodiment of freedom speech and actions :rolleye: How could Sasha interfere with the Swedish Federation if she went there at the invitation as an individual person? And at this time, Russian athletes in some other sports freely compete representing their federation and flag... It's sad that Swedish young skaters won't be able to see legend of the sport with their own eyes, it was a great opportunity

Interesting to see that this thing doesn't raise any commotion here, it even doesn't seem to be noticed... similar to scandal with Russian judges failing to pass at ISU seminar... but I get it, people are excited about GP assignments nowadays, so who cares?

I am esp. amused by the deafening silence of those who perpetually portray themselves as "true Sasha fans" and challenge others to leave her FF...

As for the judges matter, I wonder what was the content of the so called "interview".

What is there to wonder about? The real Sascha fans have long since turned their backs on this forum and only drop by sporadically from time to time. In terms of Russian women's skating, the Tutberidze lackeys dominate here, biting everyone else away. You just have to think back to the time when Sasha was with Plushenko. Then some of them dropped their last inhibitions and now act as if they were supporting Sasha. And they do even that in an outrageous way that those in the know can read between the lines. So don't worry, about Sasha is talked enough. Many times more than, for example, about certain fairies. Why should you ruin your nerves here? Let the TT fans indulge in incestuous love. Here you go.

Anywhere but here I guess ;)
🤭🤭🤭 Agreed

I always read anything and everything about skating here at GS (and about Sasha and Yuzu in particular), but rarely ever comment except for around the Olympics because there are simply not enough hours in the day to reply to every message I want to. Not to mention replying to people who do not like your favorite skater(s) but pretend to for reasons I do not understand is usually a waste of time. So I usually just don't post anything. And anything I would say with regards to what's happening to Russian athletes would get me banned so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. And now Yuzu's not competing so I have zero interest in anything but Russian domestic events this coming year 🥺

I will just continue watching Sasha videos over and over again. 😍😍😍 (And Yuzu too 😍) Not to mention all my favorite skaters who no longer compete.

And both together:

Side by side 4T's

I cannot respond on other fans behalf, but for my part I'm silent because any words I put down would get me banned. And I don't swear but this....well this makes me regret that. Plus I'll just continue watching her skating. Makes me happier than focusing on something I cannot do anything about 😖😖

Pretending is a big part of figure skating world, I can agree on that. Though we might not agree on who is pretending.

Talking is silver, silence is gold, that's a saying in my country. I can understand why some people do not react to the matters like this. But when some of those people who never show any sign of real support of particular skater (except the "support" which only consists of sladering someone else - other skater, a coach - "on behalf" of the skater they claim they are fans of) then appear only to loudly claim the right to decide who shall post here and who shall not then they loose any credit for me.
